It makes me sick that so many of these Ukraine officials that we’re seeing on video and doing interviews will likely not survive…

Putin deserves to hang for all of this.

That's the difference between a leader of the people and a leader propped up by other countries. People will fight for him and their homeland.

Not just that but he basically gave Putin the go ahead to take Ukraine when he said America would only protect NATO allies. No amount of dialogue will help Ukraine from that moment on. That's the issue with Biden, he gave away any sort of conditions or force Putin to wonder if the US will intervene. Even his top military advisors wished he hadn't said that.

I really wish NATO would provide air support for Ukraine.

And Putin clearly misjudged him. Because Putin just created a Ukrainian national hero or a martyr. Either will remain in the Ukrainian consciousness forever.

If Russia tries to go Chechnya on Kiev they will. Western population doesn’t have the stomach to watch Russia kill tens or hundreds of thousands of Ukranian citizens.

That’s what gets you a no-fly-zone so the US can go tank hunting.

Ukranian Air Force claiming it shot down an IL-76 transport carrying 100+ Russian paratroopers.

Marco Rubio on Twitter suggesting it is true:

I’m all the sudden getting the feeling that Ukraine, NATO and US are getting ready to spring a trap on Russia

All the requirements that go along with that, make it extremely difficult. If you are doing air support for Ukraine, you might as well start putting boots on the ground.

Oh good Lord. How does that serve America's national interest in any way, knowing it would likely provoke an even greater military response and entanglement?

Haven't we had enough senseless, wasteful foreign adventures since Vietnam?

It puts a stop to Russian expansionism, which we’re going to have to do at some point.

And frankly I’m okay with it even if the only benefit we get out of it is sending the message that we won’t tolerate someone invading their neighbor and slaughtering their citizens over something that is entirely fabricated.

Putin needs to get to Europe. Specifically, the Hague.

Does that remain true if we're not attacking ground forces and only clearing the skies of Russian planes?

In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it.”

It escalates into a world war instead of a border war.
Apply sanctions, condemn publicly, sell the Ukrainians weapons to defend themselves. Send them up to date intelligence. That's it.

Didn't their UN envoy (or whoever it was that presented the baloney reasons earlier) claim "There's a special Hell for war crimes"...or something like that? I saw him talking and all I could think was what a faker.
