it might be whatever a Ukrainian solider has handy. With so many countries sending armaments they probably have a hodgepodge of anti tank weapons. But yes if we have older weapons we could send them. We sent them 200 Vietnam era APCs.

In case it doesn't show Russia "open" to negotiations but sanctions need to be lifted

their inflation is double ours, they are expecting to contract 15 percent this year, they have essentially lost any further foreign investment in their country for the foreseeable future, they are likely to default on their debt, they e unified NATO and even expanded it likely now, Western Europe is weening off the majority of their oil and gas this year, and they’ve lost probably 20k troops, plus billions in armament.
If that’s thriving, I guess we have different definitions :).

Keep in mind, they're propping it up very artificially by tightening monetary supply, and then requiring foreigners to buy rubles to purchase Russian oil. It's artificial currency manipulation at its finest...

Well when you put it like THAT ;) LOL

I should've been specific and specified their currency. They've suffered all of what you said yet the ruble is growing stronger and stronger.

Just want to see them pulverized and if we can't do it militarily then at least financially :)

"Putin signs law scrapping upper age limit to enlist in Russian military, says Russian state media

From CNN's Manveena Suri in New Delhi

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law scrapping the upper age limit for Russians and foreigners to join the military as contract service members, according to Russian state news agency TASS.
    ....

The changes were drafted by the head of the State Duma Defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, and his first deputy, Andrei Krasov. According to TASS, they believe the abolition of an upper age limit will attract specialists in areas such as medical support, engineering and communications.

The explanatory note to the draft law also notes that the use of high-precision weapons and military equipment requires specialists and they gain the experience by the age of 40 to 45.

The changes in law come amid serious Russian casualties in Ukraine, where Moscow is waging what it euphemistically calls a "special military operation.""

It's probably worth it for Russia if they get to keep much of eastern Ukraine and southern coast. The price needs to be higher, much higher, to deter the Russians.

They're probably commercial grade chips, you can buy them off the shelf and it'd be impossible to prevent them from getting them in quantity. Chips used on the battlefield are typically pretty old stuff, as the newer chips with very small gate sizes are much more susceptible to radiation. That's part of the reason why we have far faster chips in our iPhones than in our $100+ million warplanes.

I don't know if I would say that the Russians are "thriving". Their oil company executives are certainly doing well, but everyone else is hurting. Inflation is killing Russia's ability to buy things, plus the fact that most of the world won't do business with them. Even the countries who are willing to do business with Russia, like China, is not getting any orders from Russia because non-oil companies can't afford anything. Inflation is somewhere around 17%. I think the strength of the ruble is primarily due to Russia forcing oil & gas customers to pay in rubles. Even your article mentioned that Russia's economy is expected to shrink 15% this year, even with the additional oil & gas profits. Depending on how widespread the brain drain winds up being in Russia, that could be their most devastating loss from all this. The future of Putin's Russia is not all that bright.

Russian weekly inflation eases further after recent spike

Why even waste any weapons on the T-62? Wait a while, and it will break down, and then the farm tractors can tow it away.

Screams desperation. Read elsewhere that many members of his own private army have been fired for refusal to go to Ukraine
