Karma: Apparently that pipeline that got taken out? Feeds oil to Germany, Austria, Hungary. Russia's 'only oil pipeline to EU' in flames – Germany, Austria, and Hungary face crisis
I like to speak in terms of Zone A and Zone B ... Zone A is informed by nearly monolithic Western media outlets and has jumped from one mass-psychosis (the cool) to another - Bad Man Putin. Zone B is open to news sources that are not shot through with prior hatred for Russians. And no, these are not primarily Russian sources. Zone A is the air that I breathe. Zone B is where I go to recuperate from noxious fumes.
So a safe spot for you exists via TASS etc. There is no moral equivalency here in spite of your efforts to spin it otherwise. What Russia is doing is evil. You have made it pretty clear where your sentiments stand; with Putin and his rapists, murderers, and looters. Own it. Have a nice day.
For the Russian apologists/propaganda folks she must've done this to herself & it's obviously an attempt by the Evil Americans/Ukranians to make the peacekeeping Russians look bad.
If Russia is sending notes to those arming Ukraine, does this mean they have to send themselves a note? How many tanks, vehicles have the Ukranians turned around & used on them? LOL
Oh, what terrible news. If only there was a friendly country capable of ramping up its production of hydrocarbons and could supply its allies so that they would not feel the pain of cutting themselves off from Russian energy …
Cnn live "Zelensky scoffs at Russia's planned "sham referendum" in occupied Kherson From CNN's Andrew Carey, Kostan Nechyporenko and Victoria Butenko Two days ahead of Russia’s plans to stage a referendum in the occupied Kherson region of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky has hailed his people’s refusal to give their backing to Russia’s occupying forces. “People [in occupied towns] have showed with their protest their attitude towards the occupiers; [they have] showed that Ukraine will definitely win,” Zelensky said in his nightly video address on Monday. “Russia wants to stage a sham 'referendum' somewhere on our land? Even if they try, it will be as shameful as everything else that was "created" in Moscow to support the occupation of Ukraine,” he added. Russia has announced it will hold a vote in the southern region of Kherson — which It has occupied since the opening weeks of the war — on Wednesday, in which people will be asked to approve the "independence" of a new entity called “the Kherson People’s Republic.”"
*sigh* here we go...though considering one of the hits was to a radio tower it could've been anti-Russian Moldovans or even Ukranians, but it still fits the Russian MO of an *attack* on a Russian-speaking/friendly area that will only be safe if Russia comes to "help" them.
Lovely. Still buying Russian oil but mixing it into other ships so that countries still buying it can pretend they're not buying "Russian" oil. No wonder their economy hadn't fully tanked. Maybe now that Russia has set its eyes on other countries to "liberate"liberated, the EU will get off its behind & ban it/allow only X number of barrels. Europe is buying up Russian oil in a discrete new market
Cnn live. "Mariupol mayor says three mass graves around city, claims locals forced to work at sites From CNN's Tim Lister and Olga Voitovych ...... New satellite imagery has shown a mass grave at the village of Staryi Krym, according to the Telegram channel of the city authorities. They appeared on March 24, after the village was occupied by the Russians, and were about 60 to 70 meters long, the council said. By April 7, according to new imagery, part of the trenches had been covered, the council said, and the burial area had grown. "New trenches were recorded on April 24. The length of the mass grave has increased to more than 200 meters," it said. Boichenko accused Russian forces of involving the local population in mass burials in exchange for food. "They [the locals] told us that you have to work 'hours' to have food and water. Now there is not enough humanitarian aid in Mariupol so people are forced to do it," he said on Telegram."
Idiots can't help themselves..."why yes, let's fire cruise missiles over a nuclear plant currently under our control. Not like we could miss & hit the plant or anything." *facepalm* Cnn live "Two missiles hit Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, says military administration From CNN's Tim Lister and Olga Voitovych Two guided missiles hit the city of Zaporizhzhia in central Ukraine Tuesday, according to the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration. The missiles hit one of the city's businesses, killing one person and injuring another, the administration said. .... Earlier Tuesday, the Ukrainian state nuclear energy company, Enerhatom, claimed that two cruise missiles had flown over the nuclear power plant near the city of Zaporizhzhia. "The flight of missiles at low altitudes directly above the ZNPP site, where 7 nuclear facilities with a huge amount of nuclear material are located, poses huge risks," said Petro Kotin, head of Enerhoatom. "After all, missiles can hit one or more nuclear facilities, and this threatens a nuclear and radiation catastrophe around the world."" Edit - a 3rd missile exploded in the air.
