Plus for it to have been after the fact, the paint would need to be fresh/intact, & there'd be spray paint on the ground under it. That and whoever did it would've had to roll the bomb over, spray it, then roll it back.

You'd think no one would be that dumb or callous but then again it's the Russians.

At this point Russia has established itself as a terrorist state.

Forget the words if you can, it was a train station of people fleeing.

I try to avoid this thread because I’m only becoming more entrenched in my position, and my position is unpopular.

This movement is against the very idea of western liberalism. It is unbridled terrorism, worse than anything “masterminds” like UBL could ever hope for in a million paradise fever-dreams.

    These barbarians have resources actual.

That whole “fight them there instead of here”? That was horseshit when a bunch of motivated incompetents hit on one of a thousand attempts from time to time. And no dis to 9/11 or even the first WTC attack.

But this will never stop until it’s stopped.

I say again, all in, today. Maybe you the man, and frankly I doubt it, but let’s find out.

I know how you feel. We are at the point that we may need to treat them like terrorists. Perhaps it’s a bad idea but at this point I’d support a very targeted but significant strike on Russian forces and equipment within the boundaries of Ukraine.

I really don’t know how this ends, as long as Putin is around. There can be no return to anything resembling normalcy even if Russia withdrawals.

Yeah I've reached the point where this is basically Hitler 2.0. We're watching just pure unadulterated evil. It's not an invasion, it's annihilation for no other reason than Russian Imperial ambition. They're restructuring to focus on the east to see if they can claim victory by "liberating" the separatist states, but Putin wants Ukraine. He wants the USSR. And he absolutely will go after others. So declaring his so called victory won't change the fact he just wrecked a country on fake & made up lies, and at the same time put Russia into a tailspin that China will spend decades bolstering because there's no fixing that mess now. Doesn't matter how much Russia wants to sink into the economy - it's a temporary bolster they can't sustain.

Like I said, admit Ukraine into NATO, tell Putin get out or face the consequences. His NATO excuse was garbage to begin with. Admit Sweden & Finland too.

The threat to “us” will never be different. That being Rooty Poo will nuke us. That’s it, full stop.

The actual threat, being that this idea creeps until it is no longer a spectator event, is real, and it’s now.

Does it need to be London? Or Berlin? Or New York?

Stomp this dog to death. And FTR, I like dogs more than almost all people. But occasionally one of them is simply incompatible with life.

I guess Ukraine could be admitted, but so? An unnecessary technicality. I agree with VZ, either you are something or you’re not. NATO isn’t just simply an idea, I get it. Dues are owed and such. But are we really just gonna watch the idea of NATO be summarily executed?

Not an attack on you IQ, as we agree down the line.

I am frustrated that the lack of action is because the proper forms weren’t filed.

This isn’t about swooping in as a savior because you’re so self-righteous or truly benevolent. It’s about realizing that your own 6 is a couple of hours from being compromised.

We were slow to get into both world wars. Brings this to mind:

Winston Churchill once famously observed that Americans will always do the right thing, only after they have tried everything else."

I think it was Kasparov in an interview that asked the question how would it be different if Putin attacked a NATO state? There would still be the theoretical possibility that Putin could use nukes. His point being at some point you are going to have to call his bluff or he never stops.

Meanwhile...someone in the feed commented the track had it heading to Finland. Remember Russian planes had been going into Finland/Sweden? Likely to intimidate?

Oh I fully agree with Zelensky. The reason I say that is the "technicality" is what some are using as a shield for not sending planes or more offensive weapons/troops, no fly zone, etc. They have more than earned their spot, though. Thought it was silly to have a paperwork ceremony but whatever (the EU thing). They've earned their spots more than Hungary that's for sure.

Since some are so hung up on technicalities then the NATO spot makes it mandatory to act. Then the entirety of NATO is what Putin has to deal with.

Of course then China has to figure out whether it'll join Russia, & yep that's WW3, but that's where we're headed anyway. Putin is Hitler & he won't stop.

Letter between E and G China too.

Clearly they do not adhere to western liberalism, but they do have a future in coexistence. Thus the sidelining.

Russia has no place in the world under P leadership.

Food prices worldwide are soaring to record levels because of the conflict. Grains are up 17%, and vegetable oils are up 23%. It will be difficult for many nations to ramp up production because fertilizer costs are up 30% (Russia is a major producer). Poor farming weather in the U.S. and China has made the situation worse.

Food prices soar to record levels on Ukraine war disruptions

Looks like we are in for more inflation. Americans are fortunate that we can afford the higher cost of food; many countries cannot.
