On a bill requiring the State Dept to document and preserve evidence of war crimes in Ukraine, you might expect a unanimous vote. You would be wrong. Meet comrade congressmen. All MAGA members in good standing.
Im coming around to this. I think we are helping them establish ground based defenses to defend the sky. Two cruise missiles intercepted outside Lviv likely headed to arms depots. Seems like a defacto no fly zone sans supersonic missiles. I have to believe that Israel, the US, and others are helping to build out this ground based control of the skies Ukraine-Russia war: Explosions heard in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions Eyewitnesses reported explosions in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, before which an air raid was issued on Tuesday night, Ukrainian media reported. Maksym Kozytskyi, governor of Lviv Regional State Administration, reportedly confirmed that explosions had taken place in the vicinity of Radekhiv. According to the military administration, no one is currently injured in the shelling. He said air defenses are working properly and urged citizens to remain in shelters.
Eh - not sure we need to dox an entire field army. I get there are soldiers commiting these war crimes, but we don't know how many nor which ones. Take the high road.
Ha. Yeah. Fair enough. When I say not sure, I mean it. It just doesn't sit right with me for some reason. I feel like there could be some (lots of?) kids put into this situation at gun point that are just effed. I'm not exact about to protest against this or anything
Collecting the info - in the highly unlikely event of a war crime tribunal - is one thing, publicly doxxing (if that's what anonymous is suggesting) is another. I don't see how it furthers the war effort either. Not gonna be a deterrent.
I’m slowly coming around to the notion that in 6 months or some other not so far off time we might very well have boots on the ground.
Well, since I’m coming from the position of “Kill all who come. And they’ll stop coming,” doxing seems like a mild alternative.
One step at a time, friend. First, we have to get the courage to control the skies and seas on behalf of Ukraine. This, we could do in relatively short order. The types of forces needed to influence the fight on the ground simply don’t exist in sufficient quantities in Eastern Europe.
We've got several thousand pairs of boots on the ground right across the border in Poland, the entire 82nd Airborne and a larger rotational force. At least one battalion of the 10th SF was in Ukraine before the invasion. They're probably back in Poland teaching training Ukrainian soldiers. Members of 10th group are specialists in eastern European terrain, languages and culture. Some of them are selected for that group because of their physical features so they can blend in with the local population.
