From CNN live "Ukraine alleges Russia is planning "terrorist" incident at Chernobyl in latest claim about nuclear risks From CNN's Tim Lister in Kyiv, Olga Voitovych and Anastasia Graham Yooll Ukraine's defense ministry has alleged that Russia plans to carry out some sort of terrorist attack at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which is now under the control of Russian forces. It is the latest in a series of claims made by Ukrainian authorities about the risks to Ukraine's nuclear power infrastructure because of Russia's invasion, none of which has come to pass. The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence claimed on its Facebook page Friday that "the available intelligence says Putin has ordered that his troops to prepare a terror attack at Chernobyl for which the Russian invaders will try to blame Ukraine." The directorate also repeated that the plant "remains completely disconnected from the monitoring systems run by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)." "

The sources made note of congressional efforts to revoke Russia's permanent normal trade relations. Honestly congress should grow a set and send him a bipartisan tough bill. Tell him if he vetos it they will override him.
I was shocked to read that they did actually send a bipartisan tough bill to begin with. Not shocked Biden watered it down, but that Congress actually agreed enough to do it! But yeah that ultimatum would've been good.

Russia threatens to abandon American astronaut in space as sanctions threaten peace aboard ISS I heard on the radio that the Russian cosmonauts had closed the door between the russian and US sections of the space station.
Saw that yesterday on tiktok - they'd interviewed Kelly (that's the post I'd said he told the head of Russian space agency to go work at McDonalds if it still exists). He said that Russian threats are empty, as NASA too can control the ISS trajectory, he has supplies, & they can get a SpaceX up there to get him. Lest they forget there's EU astronauts there right now, too. Also the company that makes the Apex said the engine threat is silly because they have plenty & Apex is being phased out so they don't need Russian rockets anymore. Edit - in that video it included Russian launch workers covering up the Japanese & US flags on their rockets. LOL
Russia is seizing American companies' assets in Russia... so far 59 companies/corporations have been mentioned. This is escalating fast... We need to defuse this crap fast, before little Putin gets us in a hot war. I hope Biden is up to the challenge.
