I let Putin slaughter our Kurd allies..only one of the four had a viable path to stop Russia without provoking a war between the US and Russia

Sean Penn is now more upset those MiG-29s aren't there yet. I think he needs to go and check out Ukrainian Air Force airfields for UXOs.

The Kurds are the punching bags of the Middle East. Iraq was murdering them after the cease fire in 91 even with a no fly zone. Syria, Turks and add Russia just for gee whiz.

Being the largest stateless nation is hard. Too big to be a small, inconsequential minority

What say we hire some Ukrainian farmers to hook their tractors to them and pull them into Ukraine?

another oligarch speaking out against the war. The fact that there are multiple oligarchs speaking out tells me that Putin is not listening to them behind the scenes and that they no longer fear him. Lack of fear of repercussion indicates to me that they don't believe that the FSB supports the war either

Russian steel billionaire calls the invasion of Ukraine 'a huge tragedy that is impossible to justify' (msn.com)

"I would like to begin by expressing my deepest compassion to all the victims of the armed conflict in Ukraine, the families and relatives of those who died," Lisin wrote. "Lost lives are always a huge tragedy that is impossible to justify. I am convinced that peaceful diplomatic conflict resolution is always preferable to the use of force."

That is surprising that he apparently still lives in Russia and is speaking out against Putin. I hope his security is good.

I would suspect that the FSB could overcome any resistance from his security if they wanted to, hence my belief that they don't want to.
