I don’t get why “some clown on X” is less credible than some clown on a football website.

If you are getting a primary source from this board, you have some issues. But might be better than Moon of Alabama or KremlinNews.net

IN February 2024 the IMF estimated Russian 2024 GDP growth would be 2.6%. They eventually raised that estimate to 3.6% and then 3.8%,.

In general a Russian source is much better than a Ukrainian or US source when the Democrats are in power. Even with Trump in power I would expect the Russians to make more sense than the Americans

I wouldn't trust either side in a war for reliable information. I weight the credibility of Kyiv Independent roughly the same as The Moscow News

Oh, okay, I’ll just go to you from now on and I’ll dismiss the 21%.

An informative article from the “racket”. It seems we were hoo-doo’d again.

“How many times were we scolded that this was no “proxy war,” and not a quagmire like Vietnam or Afghanistan? A hundred? A thousand? As early as April 28, 2022, right when this “partnership” run out of the Wiesbaden “warren” began, Biden explicitly denied we were in a proxy war, and said Russia was only making such claims to excuse their failures in defeating Ukraine:”

Biden Lied About Everything, Including Nuclear Risk, During Ukraine Operation

You're quoting an author that believes Russia is about to win.
Do you seriously think that is a credible source? From your propaganda piece

Now that the war appears lost, and newspapers abroad (conspicuously, not here) are full of news about an apparent bombing of Vladimir Putin’s motorcade, and the future of NATO hangs by a thread, the Times has run a 13,000-word “Secret History” that shows the same U.S. officials who denounced Trump and American voters for saying it out loud long ago concluded that they, too, should probably “walk away.”

^ I see cognitive dissonance emojis.

Our proxy war vs. Russia has been a stupendous failure.

When you’re getting squashed all you have is lies. And with a gullible Western audience all you need is lies …

As Russia traffics and also murders Ukrainian children…..

“One country that did not feature on Donald Trump's list of tariffs on US trade partners was Russia.”

…. trade between the US and Russia was worth $3.5bn (£2.7bn) in 2024.

“Ukraine, meanwhile, is facing a 10% tariff on its exports to the US….the new US tariff would mostly hit small producers.”

Russia not on Trump's tariff list

Given the knee-jerk and visceral hatred for Russia in the West, had Russia suffered hundreds of thousands of casualties - and if its economy was on the verge of implosion - I’m fairly sure it would be all over the news.

Here are a few of my sources, as previously posted:

Moon of Alabama blog

John Mearsheimer, the Univ. of Chicago prof who warned about the danger of war in Ukraine for years.

Stephen F. Cohen, RIP, prof emeritus of Russian studies at NYU and Princeton. He warmed us a war in Ukraine was coming
Both profs blamed neocon policies.

Pepe Escobar, widely regarded as the best Eurasian reporter in the world. A "rockstar."

Ray McGovern, Larry Johnson and Scott Ritter. All 3 have impressive intel credentials

The Duran. #1 Foreign policy podcast in the world . Top rated analysis. Interviews with other experts, analysts and strategic thinkers.

Jacques Baud, Glenn Diesen and Greg Copley. They are well known first rate foreign policy analysts. Governments around the world pay for their analysis.

Andrei Martyanov. Legendary expert on the Russian military. Geopolitical thinker. A legend. His blog:
Reminiscence of the Future

Anders Berteand and Max Blumenthal are respected reporters and analysts

Patrick Lancaster is an investigate video journalist who is often embedded with Russian troops. His videos are often quite long. He interviews civilians on the ground in areas where fighting occurs

I also read speeches by Putin and Lavrov and consider what the Russian Defense Ministry has to say.

Most of the above are on X (Twitter). I follow some of the people they follow on occasion

Why do some here support a bully? When has that become ok?
Are you Russian? Has Ukraine done something to you? If so, I’d like to know what?

The US/NATO/Ukraine are responsible for starting the war. They're the bullies.
