European leaders meeting for another summit. What’s the over/under on the number of summits needed to bring Russia to heel ?
apparently, the press was peppering both Trump and Zelensky for a while. Asking contentious questions that usually gets Trump riled up. To your point, Zelensky was under intense pressure. And of course, has been under pressure- his country is getting blown up. He's also not great with English which added to his stress and doesn't always give the optimal "political" answer. Feedback of pro-Ukrainian leaders, etc. - Zelensky didn't do what was needed for Ukraine, but his response is understood considering how he was treated. Jeesk that question from MTG's boyfriend was deliberately insulting with the room/Vance laughing at Zelensky. He's a leader of a country. Maybe Zelensky should have tried to wrap it up and say let's talk about all this in negations.
Hold on, you’re eviscerating the rationale for confronting Russia, the notion that if it’s not (even more energetically) confronted well all be speaking Russian tomorrow. Traitor.
I don't think that is a big risk considering they can't take a nation directly next to them. Why would we be worried about them at all? We could station a marching band in Kyiv and it would be too much for them to handle.
As far as I know, Russia has only been preoccupied with the country next door, America’s great proxy that it has been methodically grinding to dust. Trump knows it. The Pentagon knows it.
The whole “you’re gambling with WW3” comment is is such a disgraceful miss. The only equivalence I can see is that it would be like telling Poland that they were gambling with WW2 by not agreeing to be taken over by Germany.
The refusal to acknowledge that Russia is dedicated to attrition moreso than territorial gain. If you kill everybody in front of you, which takes a lot of time when you’ve got a million people shooting at you, the territory will take care of itself. Add: Russia probably didn’t anticipate it would be fighting 40+ nations.
Lee Harvey lives in the U.S. He doesn't do this for money. He does it for the satisfaction of irritating people while pushing contrarian views that make no sense.
Two North Korean soldiers captured by Ukraine knew nothing about the war they were sent to fight. They were handed Kalashnikov rifles and told they would be facing off against South Koreans who were aiding Ukraine. -wsj how is Ukraine at fault for this
