British war tourist is Big Mad. Effectively, Russia has destroyed two armies and is presently grinding down a third …

    Good, excellent, awesome

Hopefully Europe see the light and supports Ukraine and makes the mineral rights deal that Trump wanted.

Ukraine has started making many of their own drones. They are the backbone of their defense and can also attack Russia far past the borders. Keep attacking Russia’s infrastructure including electric and water. Maybe lob a few at Moscow.

Trump is going to turn the US into a shit hole country of have and have nots that has little to no respect from other countries, except for the axis of evils.

Would not surprise me in the least if this administration tipped off the Russians.

Vladimir Putin unleashed a missile strike to 'sink' a cargo ship amid unconfirmed Russian claims it was carrying British weapons for use by Ukraine.

Two Iskander-M ballistic missiles hit the Panama-flagged container ship MSC LEVANTE F - reportedly Swiss-owned - soon after it arrived in Odesa on March 1, after making a stop in Turkey.

Even still, Zelensky knew and knows he needs the US support to continue the strong defense of his country. If he knew it was a zero-gain moment, then just use generic responses at a press conference.

Regardless, Zelensky has since made strong efforts to publicly repair the mistakes. Trump remains desperate to end the War (because that was his campaign promise—only he had the power and know-how to do it). It’s almost as if Trump needs Zelensky as much as Zelensky needs Trump. We will see how it plays out in the next few weeks as Zelensky is given a total and complete embrace throughout Europe.

Does he? Does he really need half-assed (even under Biden) US support? No, he doesn't. If anything, what is needed is clarity. US gone. Europe needs to step up and if they do they can more than handle the feckless Russians. First step is to get nukes to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany. And lots of them!!!! All aimed at Moscow and St. Petersburg!!!

Yep. But I am still confused over one of the points that caused the blow-up. Zelensky steadfastly stated that he did not trust Putin and blamed Putin for the War. Vance claimed that was somehow disrespectful to Trump.

Does anyone know why this was truly “disrespectful?” This has been the theme of the War since it first began. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are dead because of the War. Zelensky has an army in the frontline fighting for their lives against the Putin-controlled armies. Does anyone truly expect Zelensky to suddenly praise Putin, or tell the world to trust Putin, the man responsible for the War?

I’m really curious for an apolitical explanation as to why that was disrespectful (not a Trump is bad or Trump is good response).

I think the answer is that yea, he needs US support. He’s using US-supplied weapons that needs US-supplied analysis. He needs US supplied intelligence. He needs more weapons that can meet the Russian threats. Europe, alone, won’t provide the sufficiency to sustain a defense.

Interesting news: in all of the confusion with American right-wing Russian shills claiming that Ukraine is losing the war and cannot possibly win the war, they forgot to tell Ukraine. Ukraine is advancing on Russian positions in eastern Ukraine and driving the Russians back with great losses. In some cases, Ukraine is surrounding pockets of Russians, who are expected to surrender. Ukraine is using a new 42-year-old general to plan these attacks. Even Russian mil-bloggers are admitting the Russian defeats.

New Ukrainian general inflicts ‘unsustainable losses’ on Russia

Then there were two posters who have been ignored. I do not ignore people for disagreeing with me I ignore them when they obviously are just trying to get a response.

They can if there is a will. And it's a moot point anyway. MAGA will always take the traitor/coward route. They're already on their own. Just pass Go and get on with it.

We can sit here and cast a lot of blame across every administration for 20 years about Afghanistan and why we are where we are.

but here is the bottom line… in my entire life I have never seen a U.S. administration so afraid of fighting, for good or ill. Just straight up afraid. Our president whines to our partner, “you’re gambling with WW3” like a bitch on television. The only people Trump wants to fight are our allies and our own people. WTH? You ever stop and really think about that?

regardless … history has shown that being afraid of war has never been a good recipe for avoiding one.

I wonder if f16s are starting to help more. They are apparently using them more aggressively. dropping their own glide-bombs. It takes more that a few f16s to make a difference but hopefully they are continuing to add to their inventory.

Ukraine started the war. The Biden administration wanted war as Gregory R. Copley stayed on the John Bachelor Show in October 2021.

As predicted from day 1 by myself and others, Ukraine had zero chance to win the war, and the longer the war went on the smaller Ukraine would be when it was over.

Another article on Ukraine's F-16's. They are starting to use fire-and-forget missiles like the AIM-120C, which gives them a big advantage over previous missiles.

Your intriguing question forced me to look it up.

Yes, Russia (historically the Soviet Union) has conducted several successful amphibious operations, most notably during World War II, including the Kerch-Eltigen operation in the Crimea, where they managed to establish a beachhead despite facing German counterattacks, and operations against Japan, landing troops on the Korean peninsula, Sakhalin Island, and the Kuriles.
