Why didn’t somebody think about this earlier ? Think about all the Ukrainians that could have been saved!

I guess very few Ukrainians would have died if they willingly accepted subjugation by Putin. Sadly, the end result may be the same thanks to Donald "I believe in appeasement" Trump.

Russians read their news and they read our news. Knowing the U.S.’ longstanding aims to see Putin’s ouster and his country weakened, Russians can be forgiven for thing subgugative attempts run the other way.

They are but most of them tend to be dropping some sort of anti-personnel munition, typically a grenade, that are meant for personnel and the drone can be reused. I'm sure the FPV drones footage that have them going after a single or a pair of soldiers happens a bit but it does not make a lot of sense to do at scale when there are better targets.

Thank you for admitting you have now seen the evidence of the Russian meat waves. Now that you have conceded that point, do you want to move on to admitting those are actually North Korean soldiers and they have a porn problem?

I don't hate Russians any more than I hate the Chinese people (I have quite a few friends that live in China, actually). I disapprove of Putin's actions, just like I disapprove of Xi's actions. There is no justification for Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine did nothing to cause Russia to invade them, besides owning several trillion dollars worth of minerals and some of the world's most productive farmland. Once you get that through your thick skull, maybe you'll agree to disapprove of Putin's actions.

Back to the war. Ukraine is using civilian-funded drones to knock out some fairly expensive Russian air defense systems, including a Tor-M2, a Buk-M2, and a Buk-M3 system. The Buk-3 system is one of Russia's newest air defense systems; Russian analysts in 2016 compared it to the U.S. system that was designed to replace the Patriot (which is likely an absurd comparison, since Russia has trouble defeating the Patriot system). The total cost of the three Russian systems is about $100 million. All three were apparently destroyed in a single day. And the drone operator did not even break a sweat.

Ukrainians say civilian-funded drones destroyed 3 high-value Russian air defense systems in a single day

Speaking of destruction of Russian air defense systems, how about Ukraine knocking out Russia's most advanced air defense system, the S-350 Vityaz? It appears to have been destroyed by a HIMARS strike. It's getting a little embarrassing how incapable Russia's air defense systems are at defending themselves from things . . . arriving by air.

Ukraine Appears To Have Destroyed Its First Russian S-350 Air Defense System

I’ve also wondered how many of them are opportunistic due to the drones’ batteries dying. A number of them have low battery warnings in the camera feeds.

Ship violating sanctions by transporting Russian oil to Europe struck by explosion in Italy

Two explosions occurred in the city of Savona in northern Italy on the moored oil tanker Seajewel, which Ukrainska Pravda has found was transporting oil from Russia to Europe despite sanctions.

IVG reported that the cause of the explosion is unknown. However, the vessel's crew states that they heard two loud bangs and the damaged hull shows concave deformation, indicating the likely use of explosive devices. The damage being below the waterline and the fish kill nearby further support the theory that explosive devices have been used.

That’s an awful lot of bad luck on those ships carrying Russian contraband, isn’t it?

Oh the end result is looking like it'll be far worse.

Revealed: Trump’s confidential plan to put Ukraine in a stranglehold

I don't think even the USSR took that much from Ukraine. It'd literally be better if Ukraine just handed the whole country to Russia instead. Maybe that's Trump's plan? Sue for peace on Russia's terms or be an American slave state?

LOL, Trump has zero leverage over Russia. Our own halfway spent empire has become a wheezing asthmatic.

I couldn't care less what you do. You're just comically wrong about everything.
