My foreign policy sources are elite, just like the pollsters I touted all year. I said Rich Baris was the best and he beat out every other poster for the 2024 presidential election popular vote, picking Trump to win by 1.7% (Trump won by 1.6%). Other pollsters I touted finished near the top as well, such as Atlas Intel and Rasmussen.

It's like this with most of the things I talk about. The difference between you and me is I put my money where my mouth is and I don't engage in motivated reasoning.

If Alex Mercouris sucks, why does Norwegian strategic analyst Glenn Diesen (cited by duggers_dad a few posts back) say he watches The Duran "every day"?

China is the junior partner in the Russia-China relationship.

Russia beat Ukraine with a war of attrition. Ukraine probably lost 7 or so men for every dead Russian fighter. Big win for Russia. Where's your common sense?

Reminds me of the disbelief of people here when I said Trump was ahead and Kamala was never in the lead. A few days ago a Kamala campaign insider said she had never led Trump in ANY of their internal polls. Campaign donors were told Kamala was tied or leading in order to get them to donate

Who called it the Top foreign policy podcast?

Russia wants to destroy Ukraine’s electrical grid. They have been trying for the last two years. If the AFU cannot stop Russian strikes, why is their grod still up and running.

Russia is not the senior partner in that relationship. China has the second highest GDP in the world. Russia’s GDP is about on par with Louisiana.

If Russia has killed 7 members of the AFU for every one if its fighters killed, how does that math work out at the operational level. Progzin, before he was murdered by Putin, said Russia was losing just under 10k soldiers per month. So by your math, the AFU would have to be losing 70k each month. That would work out to over 840k every year and about 2M total. That number is higher than the total end strength of the active duty US military.

That is some really elite level analysis.

I don't do fantasy FB at all. I get a lot of NFL and college picks from Warren Sharp. Sharp has guys that do fantasy at Sharp Football: Analysis & NFL Betting Tips from Warren Sharp . On X (twitter) Warren is @SharpFootball. He has great stats and analysis. Would expect the fantasy football analysis there to be very good.

Never evaluated this guy but I would expect his analytics to be very good. Rich Hribar at (Warren) Sharp Football Analysis:

I'm just guessing ... a ceasefire deal. Probably something along the lines of an economic pact between the EU and Ukraine, with a pledge by Ukraine to remain neutral in terms of NATO membership and military alliances in general. The border is frozen at the current front lines with the exception of Kursk, which Ukraine agrees to withdraw from. Ukraine will cease to make claims on any land Russia have taken and thus they won't be shelling ethnic Russians in these areas anymore. In return, Russia agrees to a permanent freeze of the border and pledges to not move an inch further. US/EU are allowed to fund Ukraine's rebuild of civilian infrastructure, housing, etc but pledge no military assistance. Ukraine will be responsible for maintaining their own military, which will be seen as plausible given the economic influx the Europeans and US will provide in the coming years.

Yes, but Alexander "sounds" so smart. That's not good enough for you? What do you want? Nonsense like pesky facts and citations? You mean the goofy accent isn't good enough for you?

Russia was never losing 10K per month.

In purchasing power parity (PPP), Russia just moved from #6 in the world to #5, passing Germany.

Regarding China's GDP VS Russia's GDP, there's a lot more to their relationship than that. China lacks clean water and has to import food and energy. The opposite is true for Russia. China was ready to collapse economically before Biden pushed Russia into aligning with China. Then China got cheap energy and food, bailing out Xi.

Russia has the superior military. They have a better relationship with India, North Korea and the Central Asian Republics and so on.

World #1 (?) strategic analyst Greg Copley has talked about the China-Russia relationship on the John Batchelor Show. That's who informs my opinion. Like I say, I listen to people who are smarter and more knowledgeable than me. Copley is one of those people

Based off your postings, you are likely listening to anyone that says what aligns with your ideological priors. Please tell me who ranked Greg Copely as the World’s #1 strategist.

What do you think Russian causalities are each month? Where are you getting those numbers?

British Military is saying that Russia is suffering around 1k casualties (both KIA and WIA) per day. That increased in October. They think the total number of Russian casualties is around 700k.

Russian troops just had their deadliest day of war: Kyiv
