"The United States is providing another significant package of urgently needed weapons and equipment to our Ukrainian partners as they defend against Russia’s ongoing attacks. This additional assistance, provided under previously executed Presidential Drawdown Authority from Department of Defense stocks, is valued at $425 million. It includes munitions for National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS); RIM-7 missiles for air defense; Stinger anti-aircraft missiles; Air-to-ground munitions; Ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS); 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition; cluster munitions; High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs); Javelin, AT-4, and other anti-tank systems; Tube-Launched, Optically-Tracked, Wire-Guided (TOW) missiles; light tactical vehicles; small arms, ammunition, and grenades; demolitions equipment and munitions; spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training, and transportation." Russian automaker that provides vehicles to the Russian army blames western sanctions for their vehicles falling apart on the battlefield. They had to switch suppliers on short notice, and the switch has not gone well. The vehicles are experiencing leaks, engine problems and gearshifts falling off, among other things. One of Russia's biggest automakers said it's struggling under Western sanctions after frontline complaints that its vehicles are falling apart
North Korean troops are so poor that they have to wear shoddy Russian uniforms. They are expected to surrender at the first chance that anyone offers them food. Watch: North Korean soldiers are equipped with Russian military gear
Nobel Peace Prize winner Oleksandra Matviichuk is asking the U.S. to send missiles to Ukraine. How 'bout dat? Opinion: I won the Nobel Peace Prize. Now I'm asking the US to send missiles to Ukraine.
Or did Trump get that much in his most recent round of grifting? Have you bought your Swiss-Wyoming watch and grift-o-crypto yet? It's the grift that keeps on grifting. Do your Trump shoes fit well?
My guess is, these North Korean troops have never eaten or been dressed so well as they are now. Still, I’m puzzled how so many have managed to desert and how neither North Korea nor Russia seemed to anticipate that is exactly what many of them would do. Their poor families back home, though. That’s the only real motivation North Korea has for keeping them in line.
There are apparently stories of teenage girls in Ukraine digging ditches to support the war effort. Sound like young heroes to me. Also seems like a clear indication that Ukraine really wants their freedom. The young girls are the ones that the Russian barbarians will want to rape first, so there is probably a good motivation for them to help the war effort against the barbarians. It frees up the men to do more of the fighting. There were young women in the U.S. Revolutionary War effort that contributed to the victory as well. Anyone that would want to denigrate their hard work and sacrifice, or the nation that sends them to do this work, is probably lacking intelligence, courage or vision, or all three.
I still can't figure out why we have not sent more Abrams tanks. We have thousands of them in warehouses.
They are not the helpful when you are fighting trench warfare and the minute an major piece of armor shows up in the clear attempting to maneuver, it is huge target for OWADs. So you have multi-million dollar vehicle taken out by a thousand dollar OWAD. That money is better spent sending GMLRS rounds.
This Ukrainian man needs to stop struggling. Ukraine is woefully short of drivers for those thousands of Abrams tanks we can afford to send them …
Trump has decided to blame Zelenskyy for "allowing the war to start". WTF? Trump says Zelensky 'should never have let' Ukraine war start
