Of the $95 billion in the America Last Bill, the $13.7 billion allocated to weapons materials will likely last Ukrainian two to three months.

By that time tens of thousands more Ukrainians would have died, for Joe Biden and Mike Johnson, and Russia will be that much closer to achieving its aims which could have been achieved without bloody conflagration.

It's very possible by the time Russia takes over Ukraine, the US taxpayers would have wasted nearly $1T. The way we handled the invasion was half ass; either do it right or don't do it at all. Biden is incompetent when it comes to foreign aggression. None of his elder statesmanship ever was successful. Sanctions have proven to do nothing to prevent, mitigate or even resolve conflicts. Putin knew this because Crimea is still Russia's and the same playbook was used when he invaded Ukraine again. Russia not only hasn't been severely affected by the sanctions, they have thrived with them. Russia will have the highest GDP growth of any of the developed countries, at 5.7%. Same with North Korea. Both Russia and NK love US sanctions because it's so easy to get around them. And it only makes it easy for them to get their own people to hate us.

And as I suspect Russia will not take the whole of Ukraine, how will American taxpayers react when the then POTUS and Congress try to whip up support for a $500 trillion Rebuild Ukraine bill ?

I only have time to mention one thing. Russia is not thriving. What they have is a well controlled economy that has changed to a full war footing. 40 percent of government funding is going to defense, and now almost seven per event of their gdp. So no - their economy is not thriving. It is being managed well in the short term but you can’t stay on war footing forever.

Interesting how off the predictions were from the start. So much of the West thought Russia’s army would roll over them. And Russia’s economy would falter from sanctions. The opposite happened. China has been a big player in keeping Russia’s economy going.

    “Show me the lies”

Why give you any more of a platform to spew the lies?
They lie. Repeat. Lie. Repeat. Hoping to gain traction.

It would be interesting to know if this poster, in all reality, is actually being paid by Russian interests to post on this (and probably also other) message boards.

I would imagine it's nationwide on a variety of forums. Disinformation is part of their m.o.

I agree. The details would be fascinating. Is this poster in a town in Russia, operating out of what looks like a call center?

    What a crazy world....

Edit : It's also fun to watch all the right-wing posters here agree with him and approve of his posts.

If these are Russian plants, Russia needs to do a better job screening out the stupid.

If you ignore his/their posts, the whole board is substantially more cerebral.

The west, to a large degree, let Russia continue to utilize oil because they thought the world market needed it. Recent, last 60 days??, changes to finance and shipping changed the game. Much like Iranian sanctions, somewhat toothless, until shipping insurance became involved and they decided to negotiate. Russian revenue from oil is going to plummet as the buyers in India and China pull back and the ghost fleet is sanctioned. Add in new emphasis on attacking Russian refineries that need foreign parts to fix...tick tock....

Norway has removed targeting restrictions on their f-16's being donated "soon" to allow strikes inside Russia.

We need a pool on first mission flown by Ukrainian f-16.

How long after would we know?

Thinking that bridge to Crimea is toast once Ukraine has those f-16s.

And just recently major Chinese banks have stopped transactions with Russia. Screws were tightened quite a bit lately on several layers
