Vegasfox; Don't rely on your "instincts." All the smart kids knew a Russia-Ukraine war would result in a huge Russian victory. Ukraine started the war by slaughtering Russian-speakers with Biden's consent and approval. Russia entered Ukraine legally and had prepared for the sanctions.

The U.S. did increase its capability to make artillery shells by a factor of six since the war started. Biden just needs Congressional authorization (money) to start sending shells to Ukraine.

Biden's failure to implement the act to grow our defensive production was/is a tremendous failure. Like the Israeli missile defense, it needs to be stress tested with China eyeing Taiwan, and there will not be a better chance to stress test the system. And not just weapons, but food production and energy also

I think I read that the bill being voted on by the house includes 27 billion to replenish stockpile after shipping old stuff to Ukraine. I think this is good keep rotating the stock.

 

Interesting to go back to the beginning of this thread. Apparently, Ukraine was going to be overrun by Russia very quickly.
Whatever happens in the Ukraine, they have punched way above their weight and have exposed the Russian paper tiger.

 

I myself astonished that anyone believed that Russia would overrun a country the size of Texas, with hundreds of thousands of well dug-in and heavily armed troops, with as few as 75k of their own troops.
