All of the smart geopolitical analysts knew how this war would turn out from day 1 if there was no ceasefire agreement. This disaster was predicted in 2016
    You're wrong about everything.

As Putin has stated, "We wanted to be your friend. Why was it necessary toake is your enemy?" Reagan wanted Russia to integrate it's economy with Western Europe's.

Ukraine started this war and Russia will finish it with the total capitulation of the Ukrainian government.

The US supported Chechen terrorists inside Russia. Putin told Bill Clinton this should stop but Clinton blew him off.

The US created ISIS and used those terrorists to carry out operations in areas that cause problems for Russia.

he US and NATO held 7 meetings in the 2 years prior to the start of Ukraine war. They discussed breaking Russia into 18-32 countries.

I could go on and on but what good would it do?

There is so much blatantly wrong in what you wrote — factually wrong — that the best response is laughter. Because laughter cures all.

If people despise diversity so much, and need to be only with people who look and think exactly like them, find a place. Of the guy praises Russia because in his worldly knowledge it’s the last “majority white country that is proud to be white,” GO!!!! BE HAPPY!!! He can find his Valhalla in Russia. Nobody is stopping him. To be sure, the United States — a country founded and built on the backs of a smorgasbord of nationalities from every corner of the globe — is not, never was, and never will be the place this guy dreams of.

I embrace diversity. Can’t vouch for the people on this thread who’ve placed me on ignore because I don’t believe Russia is losing.

Ukranian using sam 200's to take out long range russian bomber...beyond upsetting to see Russian missiles getting through and destroying civilian targets because the orange one stopped the aid to try and help Putin and hurt Biden.

Ukrainian soldiers destroy Russian Tu-22M3 bomber: Weaponry used revealed (msn.com)

The Russian Tu-22M3 aircraft was shot down by an S-200 anti-aircraft missile system, according to sources in the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The sources tell the agency that it was the S-200 air defense system, which was modified by specialists from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.

Today, during a Russian massive attack, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Russian Tu-22M3 bomber, 15 of 22 missiles, and 14 Shahed drones.

Thus, for the first time, anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Air Force, together with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, destroyed a Russian Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bomber, which is a carrier of Kh-22 cruise missiles. It was also the first time that Ukraine destroyed two such missiles.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry also confirmed the downing of the missile carrier. However, they say that the preliminary cause of the accident was allegedly a technical malfunction. They also added that there were four crew members on board. Two of them ejected and were hospitalized, the third died, and the fourth is still being searched for.

How much of the $61 billion in additional aid to Ukraine will be used to bail out George Soros and BlackRock from bad investments they made in Ukraine?. The rich agricultural land they bought will belong to Rissia. -Cputesy of US neocons and the "useful idiots" who believed their lies and supported this war.

664,000 Ukrainian politicians, judges and prosecutors reported their total assets insrch as required by Ukraine's anti-corruptipn law. One out of every three bought a car in the last 2 years. One out of six bought an apartment or house. Their bank deposits have risen by 25%> People selling Rolexes and other luxury hoods (especially high priced vehicles,) are doing a booming business.
They eagerly await the next round of aid from America and the Euro countries. Thenany will leave Ukraine. Ministers of Parliament want to flee but the borders are closed . Only 44 MP' showed up to vote for Ukraine's new mobilization law, which will enlist Ukraine's young people who will be sent to fight with little to no training.

Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries accomplished next to nothing but it motivated Putin to attack Ukrainian energy infrastructure. The results have been devastating.

But don't worry folks. All the billions of dollars sent to the most corrupt country in the world will save the American taxpayers "trillions" of dollars. Just ask chemgstor.

Ukraine developing their own weapons so the US cannot dictate rules. Sad that they have ahd to fight this war with one hand tied behind their back in order to get a gun for the other hand. Biden is responsible for a lot of unnecessary Ukranian deaths due to his reluctance to supply certain weapons in a timely manner and the pubs are complicit with their bootlicking orange man guiding principles

Ukraine disregards US warnings and develops UAVs capable of reaching Siberia – The Economist (msn.com)

Ukraine is disregarding US warnings concerning the use of attack drones on Russian energy infrastructure, and it is now manufacturing superdrones that can reach targets in Siberia 3,000 kilometres away from its own borders, writes UK weekly The Economist.

The publication writes that the programme to produce these drones was "born of necessity" because the West is unwilling to arm Ukraine with long-range missiles. It has already destroyed a sizable portion of Russia's air defence and oil infrastructure.

"But the White House is not happy. It is pushing the Ukrainians to stop the strikes. America’s concerns have varied, from a rise in the oil price to the prospect of an uncontrollable tit-for-tat in which Ukraine could end up the loser," writes The Economist.

"The attacks revealed gaps in air defences and vulnerabilities to Russia’s new Kh-69 low-altitude cruise missile. On 11 April, such missiles destroyed Ukraine’s Trypilska power station, 40 km from Kyiv, though it was in range of the capital’s Patriot air-defence systems."

Biden and the State Department handling of Russian Imperialism is bad enough, combine that with the absolute traitorous behavior of the GOP, whom have no clue what America Strategic interests are, and the USA is bungling an incredible opportunity to put down Russian imperialist expansion without shedding US or NATO blood.

If I was Ukranian I would be furious beyond the pale.

I do applaud Mike Johnson, he seems to finally understand whats at stake given his recent statments on the matter. Hopefully the Democrats can work
with non maga GOP members to pass the aid bill.

I fear that if Ukraine falls it will create a domino effect that will be quite deleterious to the interests of the United States and of course to Capatalism and Economic Prosperity.

I could. It’s easy. It’s all wrong. But there is literally nothing to benefit by engaging in a substantive debate with someone who just spits out lies. And so I choose to laugh at the silly propaganda that comes off your keyboard.

Hurray for Mike Johnson and Ukraine:

The House voted Friday in a bipartisan manner to advance a key foreign aid package, a significant step in sending aid to Ukraine and Israel and setting up a final vote as soon as Saturday.

In an extraordinary move, more Democrats (165) supported the measure than Republicans (151). The Democratic votes were necessary to overcome opposition from Speaker Mike Johnson’s right flank, who will likely only increase their calls to oust him.

Hopefully this holds up for one more vote and Ukraine can get "back into the game".

At least there is a chance. My instincts tell me that Ukraines ability to withstand Russian pressure is weakining.
They really need the aid and of course the ammunition. It is shocking that all of NATO including the USA, has such 'weak" production capacity
for munitions, especially heavy artillery. This is one area the ski's are clearly doing better than NATO.

Fortunately any attempt to unseat Johnson will probably fail ironically thanks Democratic members of the House who have had enough of Marjorie Taylor Greene and her fellow pro-Putin crazies.

I prefer peace contingent of which there are far too few. Mainly it’s Democrats and Republicans working together to fund ill-conceived wars.

I have been screaming about this for two years. The western world is not in any way ready to meet production needs for a wider war. They need to keep this tied up in Ukraine until peace is possible.
