Maidan was her baby. This means the innards of the U.S. government have already made the decision to pull out of Ukraine. The politicking may continue for the sake of politicking, but zero chance she resigns if the United States had any real prospect of doubling down on Ukraine. We’re out. This is good news. It’s too bad Biden won’t take a victory lap with it. Or will he? You never know.

Back to what words mean, the Oxford definition of a “warmonger” is:

Since even the most pro-Putin of people do not dispute that Russia is the aggressor here, may I assume the argument is that Victoria “Buland” [sic] encouraged or advocated for Russia to invade its sovereign neighbor?

No offense, but I don’t really care about any of that in light of the significance of her resignation as it relates to U.S. long-term strategy in Eastern Europe. This suggests U.S. is willing to concede Ukraine as a neutral state as it relates to NATO ascension.

Anyone who opposes Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a Nazi and a warmonger, according to the Kremlin, as well as the simpletons that get their talking points from the Kremlin. You must support Russia's invasion of Ukraine to NOT be a warmonger, in the barbarians' eyes. You must support a violent multi-polar world where Russia slaughters people in other countries and the West is hamstrung and crippled to be a person who appreciates peace. And no, our propagandist comrade does not think it's important to know what words mean. As long as the words can persuade people to support Mother Russia (or not support Russia's opponents), then they are good words, and they must be said loudly and often.

Turkish oil terminal refuses to accept Russian oil, as Turkey is under pressure to comply with western sanctions. Probably not good news for the Russian economy. Turkey was Russia's biggest oil buyer in the western hemisphere last year.

Reuters: Turkish oil terminal refuses Russian imports amid US sanctions

I thought that was India. Either way, the sanctions are beginning to tighten and it is going to take oil off the world market which could push prices higher going into the election.

This was it. This was the straw. This time, it matters.

We know that already. It’s difficult to know what other people are talking about when you don’t even know what you are talking about. And you don’t.

Biden has reached a cognitive state where his lying mechanism is broken. He can’t anymore.

And so yesterday he was asked if bombing the Houthis would stop them. He said “No.” Then they asked him if he was going to continue to bomb the Houthis. He said “Yes.”

India is not in the western hemisphere. I'm not sure that Turkey is either, but it's close enough, apparently.

Ummm, because no one else in U.S. government could possibly be supportive of Ukraine in the Ukraine War? Or because they are doing away with Nuland's position? Get serious. It was Victoria Nuland, not Winston Churchill who resigned. She's replaceable.

She’s being replaced by a man who superintended the pullout of the American War on Afghans. This suggests the possibility that the Biden administration realizes it’s lost another proxy war and, with an election coming, the need to devise an off-ramp.

Sounds like a man who understands how easily a weapons supplying country can influence and help win a proxy war.

When was the last time we won a proxy war ? And cite the proxy we didn’t ruin along the way.
