Putin helps "Best Teacher in Russia" get the ax. There goes education in Russia. Putin is releasing killers from prison to fight in Ukraine, and they continue to kill Russians when they leave the battlefield. This one was sentenced to 11 years in 2020 for a murder, then set free to fight in Ukraine, before making his way to the Sakha Republic, where he killed two people with an ax. Little Stalin must be proud.

Killer Freed to Fight Putin’s War Accused of Ax-Murdering ‘Best Teacher in Russia’

Some credit? I give that Australian pig Murdock along with Rush suckjaw and others credit for being the principle bannermen for the dissolution of the American compact and the creation of a hate filled partisanship unseen since the 1850s.

Democrats need the Deplorables to unite with them under the banner of hysterical Russophobia.

I'm saying that it is not as serious an issue as Russia invading a European country with lots of natural resources. Illegal immigration has been going on here since 1492. Somehow, we've always survived. Yes, there are illegal drugs being smuggled as well as human trafficking, but we have a government agency to deal with that, and they are doing a reasonable job. Every once in a few decades, an event occurs that potentially puts the entire world at risk, such as when Hitler invaded Poland in 1939, or when Putin invaded Ukraine in 2022. There was an opportunity to stop Hitler in his tracks in 1940, but European countries chose to sit and wait, and they eventually paid a price for that. There exists in an opportunity in 2024 to stop Putin, but Americans are lacking the courage and fortitude to do so. We will almost certainly pay a price in the end, as will all countries. The world will be a more dangerous place, and we will enjoy more and more high inflation and interest rates as we compete with a resurgent Russia in an arms race while we do the same with China. Countries like Iran and North Korea will only become bolder in their attacks based on American cowardice. We are already fighting with Iran proxies Yemen and Gaza, not to mention Syria and Iraq. In the grand scheme of things, we're losing the battle for free trade and a world based on laws. Russia was a chance to turn that around. We failed. Our grandchildren are going to hate our guts, and rightly so. We have disgraced the good name and reputation of the United States of America.

I’m not understanding why both issues can’t be addressed. Funding for Ukrainian defense and shutting down the Massive migrant issue that we do have. I don’t know about Russian disinformation but I do know what our friends that live near the Texas border since the late 40’s and an acquaintance who has worked at both the Texas and Southern California borders have personally told us. It has become a major issue that needs to be dealt with. Both parties at fault here.

    Here you are.:
The Spy War: How the C.I.A. Secretly Helps Ukraine Fight Putin

This was interesting. Mandatory reading for those idiots questioning why we should aid Ukraine.:

"The listening post in the Ukrainian forest is part of a C.I.A.-supported network of spy bases constructed in the past eight years that includes 12 secret locations along the Russian border. Before the war, the Ukrainians proved themselves to the Americans by collecting intercepts that helped prove Russia’s involvement in the 2014 downing of a commercial jetliner, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. The Ukrainians also helped the Americans go after the Russian operatives who meddled in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Around 2016, the C.I.A. began training an elite Ukrainian commando force — known as Unit 2245 — which captured Russian drones and communications gear so that C.I.A. technicians could reverse-engineer them and crack Moscow’s encryption systems. (One officer in the unit was Kyrylo Budanov, now the general leading Ukraine’s military intelligence.)

And the C.I.A. also helped train a new generation of Ukrainian spies who operated inside Russia, across Europe, and in Cuba and other places where the Russians have a large presence.

The relationship is so ingrained that C.I.A. officers remained at a remote location in western Ukraine when the Biden administration evacuated U.S. personnel in the weeks before Russia invaded in February 2022. During the invasion, the officers relayed critical intelligence, including where Russia was planning strikes and which weapons systems they would use."

thank you. The clandestine work along the front fueled by US intel was and is dealing significant blows to Ivan. A couple of these operations will make a good movie someday.

#13 in the last 12 days. Another SU 34 down

Air Force hit two more Russian aircraft with missiles (msn.com)

The Air Force reported that on 1 March, a Russian Su-34 attempting to strike Ukrainian positions with guided bombs was successfully downed on the eastern front.

・Ukraine's Defence Ministry reported that the Ukrainian Air Force shot down 13 Russian aircraft in February 2024.

has Russia stopped buying poorly performing NK artillery rounds?

Halting at Sea: North Korea's arms shipments to Russia come to a stop (msn.com)

In October 2023, the British Ministry of Defense highlighted significant cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow in military supplies, specifying the maritime paths used by vessels transporting ammunition and weapons to Russian forces in Ukraine. This collaboration persisted for months but has recently witnessed a puzzling shift.

According to a report by South Korea's NK Pro, there has been no activity on the previously used routes for around three weeks. This insight was gleaned from satellite imagery analysis near North Korean ports, with the latest shipment recorded on February 12.

The reasons behind this cessation are unclear. It could stem from production issues in North Korean factories or logistical challenges, as suggested by NK Pro. Alternatively, there might be a strategic shift to undisclosed aerial or railway routes, though a fallout between Russia and one of its closest allies seems improbable.

A Concern for Putin: An Increasing Number of Russian Soldiers are Deserting the Army (msn.com)

An increasing number of Russian soldiers are deserting the army amid ongoing intense battles, particularly in the southern and eastern parts of Ukraine.

Recent advancements by Russian forces, including gains in Avdiivka, have been overshadowed by reports of rising desertions within their ranks, according to the Russian activist group "Idite lesom," as reported by SVT.

The rate of desertions in January has seen a tenfold increase compared to the same month last year. Specifically, 284 soldiers deserted in January alone, a significant rise from the 28 reported in the previous year.

Both parties at fault but only one party at the moment blocking an actual bill that addresses these issues for no other reason than to please Donald Trump.
