What I would like to see, if the S-200 has the range for it (or could be modified to have the range) is for a coordinated attack on a military air base, with the S-200 arriving first and striking the airport terminal or central office building, followed by multiple drones coming in and attacking all of the aircraft. Distract everyone at the air base, and then hit as many bombers as possible during the confusion. If they have any defense for the drones, they may abandon it thinking that it is a missile attack, or think that firefighting is the most important activity. A little inaccuracy in the S-200 would not really affect the operation, as the terminal is not the primary target.

    Fact-Check: True …

Point 1: It’s bad to be racist.
Point 2: Being a warmonger is worse than being a racist.

Neither of these points should be controversial, and saying them both should draw no objection whatsoever. But the entirety of the mainstream synthetic left — and a substantial percentage of the authentic socialist left — quietly disagree with Point #2.

More ignorance A U.S. colonel should be smarter than that (although, working for Trump probably lowered his I.Q. 50 points). He absolutely should know that the combat pay is for the U.S. Marines that are guarding the U.S. Embassy, which they do in every country that has a U.S. Embassy. He offered no evidence that there are any additional troops in Ukraine beyond that. If Russia found out there were additional U.S. troops in Ukraine, they would move mountains to get at them and kill as many as they could, to horrify and divide the American people and stop aid to Ukraine. He should also know that the U.S. equipment that is being sent over there, while "not new", is significantly better than Russia's equipment. He should also know that the U.S. is not trying to "sort out" the multi-generational disputes between Russia and Ukraine; we are supporting an innocent country that was invaded. We are not forcing Ukraine to fight, we are just providing the tools to let them defend themselves against an aggressor nation.

Whether the war escalates into a nuclear war or not is the only valid point he makes. But we can't back down to every country that has nuclear weapons every time they invade a neighbor. That sets a very dangerous precedent. Besides, as long as Ukraine does not try to march to Moscow, the chance of nuclear weapons being used is very low. Putin knows that a nuclear escalation would end badly for Russia.

I’m convinced that Ukrainian nationalists and Murcan yahoos are so filled with incandescent rage, towards Russians, that’d they’d be okay with a thousand dead Ukrainians … as long as they knew they’d killed ten Russians.

Ahh, more idiocy from the Russian troll Caitlyn Johnstone. So you're only a warmonger if you are an American supporting Ukraine's right to defend itself from foreign aggression. If you support Russia's "right" to invade other countries, you're not a warmonger. You're just pulling the blinders over your eyes.

    found this interesting

Ukrainian forces 'reach centre of key village' amid fierce fighting (msn.com)

Cluster bombs mean Russians 'are scared to launch assaults'
Cluster munitions are deterring Russian advances and have relieved pressure around Kupiansk and Lyman, it has been reported.

A Ukrainian military official known only as Stanislav told The Washington Post: “The main benefit is that the enemy is now very scared to go on assault.

“When we start firing the cluster munitions, the Russians disappear under hard cover. They won’t even poke their noses out.”

Russia is definitely on my bucket list. But I understand that a certain US proxy war makes it difficult to visit.

At least Ukraine has the decency to give their soldiers a proper burial. Russia would rather their dead rot in the fields to avoid paying their families (and to avoid admitting the huge numbers of casualties). So the lack of graves speak . . .

Robotyne falls to Ukraine. Russian army humiliated. Again. Next stop: Tokmak.

Ukrainian forces achieve breakthrough at Robotyne, General Staff reports

Looks like Ukraine is going to "lose badly" all the way to the Sea of Azov.

Russian tank and armored vehicle units continue to display incompetence on the battlefield. Very nice of the Russians to line up in formation to be shot at. Probably too much practice in parades.

Videos of an artillery ambush show Russian tanks and armor making 'opening day mistakes' and paying the price for them

Will Russia hang on to Robotyne? Population of 74, but strategically important.

Essentially a pile of rubble in the grey zone. Could be Ukraine’s high water mark.

There is interesting info. out there Chem, that suggest solid reasons for repeated Russian mistakes.

Apparently each ski district trains their units on outdated methods. They do not have centralized training based on updated strategy and doctrines.

So the same mistakes are repeated over and over. Combine this with the Kremlin valuing Russian lives as much as cockroaches and you have tragic results for the common soldier.

At least that is what is being reported.
