Kind of important UF wins this at home, will be a bubble team for hosting NCAA first two rounds and these are the swing type matches

Laid an egg in doubles, down on all 3 courts when Waves claim the point

Dahlstrom 0-5....of course after I carry on about her improvement this year lol

Not the fast start one would like

 

Briggs falls apart and loses 4 straight 3-6
Dudney 4-4
Dahlstrom 1-6
Gailis also falling apart loses 5 straight, 5-6
Sysoeva nice run for 6-3
Emily 4-6

Lost 3 first sets and Gailis is reeling.....LOTS of work to do

 

Dudney loses 2 straight and her first set
Gailis has now lost 7 staright games after opening 5-1

Will take a miracle turnaround at this point

 

Briggs goes down 3 and 3
Dahlstrom is one game away from losing, Gailis 2 games away from losing

This is brutal. UF at home vs a lower ranked team has taken one set, inexcusable

 

De Oliviera loses the clincher. Sysoeva was down in her second set as well.
Absolutely no positives to take from this

 

Will add that coach was much more upbeat about the beatdown than I was. Waves roster is essentially all grad student/sr transfers with tons of experience. Doesn't make me feel much better, but that is a factor
