Women shouldn't struggle too much today, Bama is average at best
Men facing a top 5 team in their end of season gauntlet, winnable match but they need to play well across the lineup


Women take the doubles point, but it was very close on all 3 courts. Doubles was a strength early, they have been pretty bad of late.

 

Everyone but Briggs seems in control of their first set in singles, Carly is at 3-3

Men's doubles is tight on courts 1 and 2, UK in control on 3

 

Men win 6-4 on 1, lose 3-6 on 3, Nirundorn just held at deuce for 5-5 on court 2

Both teams hold serve to force a TB for the doubles point

 

Men lose the TB and the doubles point 7-5.....Nate lost both his service points, the first on a fluffed overhead and they couldn't dig out of the hole. Close but not close enough, story of the season to date

Dudney cruising, she will wrap shortly
Gailis takes her first 6-3
Emily blows a nice lead and getting blown out in a TB....she has struggled a bit of late
Spee ekes out a 7-5 first

 

Men singles is the same lineup we have seen lately....Orli was listed at 6 but they inserted Nirundorn

I still say move Nate up to 3 and give Luke and Jonah a better shot, but nobody is listening lol

Men faced UK in national indoors...doubles had UF 6-4 on 1, UK 6-4 on 2, UK 6-3 on 3. Virtually the same results as today. I'll spare everyone the singles results....but Tokac was the only UF winner

 

Dudney was cruising, then loses 3 of next 4...still one game away
Briggs took her TB, everyone else is kind of scuffling along. They will win but it's sloppy today

 

When they last faced each other, Draxl beat Nefve 0 and 0, Axel is up 3-0 to start today

Dudney and Gailis get it done....Emily with a horrible loss, Spee up 5-1 and Briggs 3-1 in their second sets

Braswell down a break 3-4...watching this one and it's a typical Braswell match, he's scratching and clawing against a guy that looks more talented. But he's hanging around
Lukas with a nice first set win

Will take a miracle to win 4 matches....can't see it today

Braswell gets a little momentum and wins 6-4 in his first
Greif down a break but up a set
Nate...watching his match is frustrating, he has the talent but he is just tangled up on the court. He's up 3-2 almost in spite of himself
Nirundorn down 0-3 but up a set
All the first set losers are rebounding

Nate goes down, just can't get out of his own way. If he's gonna lose at 5 then move him up a spot or two and let him swing away....nothing to lose.

Braswell must have heard me, won 6 straight since I questioned him...good for him 4-0
Greif up 1-0 in 3rd
Nirundorn loses 2 straight and his second set 4-6

Axel will be the tough one....winning a set vs Draxl is tough, winning 2 straight is brutal

Nirundorn was facing a game point to go down 1-4, he was dead in the water and stuck his racket out for a lob that just stayed in....he wins that point and the game. Now at 3-3
Nefve at 1-1...he had a chance for 2-0 and couldnt convert
Lukas at 4-2

 

Lukas keeps losing game points, 5 in 2 games 4-4 now
Nirundorn loses 3 straight and the match. He made his opponent make a ton of passing shots and the guy made them. He is fun to watch, kind of a Michael Chang type
Nefve at 2-2
Not sure if they will finish the last 2

Story of the season, battle but can't win the big points. So frustrating

 

Greif now down 5-6.....absolutely cannot win a key point here in the stretch
Nefve 3-3 but seems to be fading a bit
