Round one wrapping up, only a couple of golfers left on the course. UF with a solid round, currently even on the day in a 3 way tie with Auburn and 3rd ranked USC.

Quality field, 11 teams ranked in the top 30 (UF ranked 10th)

Halfway thru round 2, playing poory across the board. Have lost touch with the lead, gone from 1 stroke back to 12 strokes back and down to 4th place. Need to stop the bleeding on the back nine

Expecting bad weather, so shotgun start this AM.
Top 8 advance to match play, first rounds will be this afternoon

Interesting that 9th ranked Bama is in 7th. Want to avoid them in the first round of match play. 11th ranked TAMU is tied for 11th, but only 3 strokes out of 8th. Would expect a lot of movement, no way to tell how matchups will shake out till later in the round, certain element of luck in that regard

All UF golfers have hit the turn, solid so far today at 3 under. No movement to speak of on the leaderboard. As it stands now UF and Ole Miss would square off in match play. Obviously that can change dramatically on the back 9, but there is a 5 stroke cushion between UF and 3rd place, and a 4 stroke cushion down to 6th place

Looking like UF and Ole Miss will flip spots between 4th and 5th....Ole Miss by far having the best day of any team on the course. But the end result will remain those 2 facing off in match play.
Downside, Ole Miss was hottest team on the course today. Upside, can the 23rd ranked team maintain that level.
On paper UF should be a pretty solid match play team, lot of international experience

Vandy caught UF for a bit, but then fell back. Looks like UF vs Ole Miss

not so fast my friend, uf and bama tied or 5th, how does tie-breaker work, 1 hole playoff with all 5 members from each team playing, what?

According to Golfstat match play pairings UF is paired with 4th place OM.

Yeah, Bama closed with a flurry last hole to catch UF. The tiebreak normally is the score of the 5th golfer, whose score had been dropped. In this case UF must win that

As hot as Ole Miss was today, I might have preferred 6th and playing LSU

    Good competitive match so far
    Domingo down 2 thru 11
    Fuller up 3 thru 11
    Manzalini up 2 thru 10
    Filler down 2 thru 9
And amazingly Lucerna (who has struggled) up 5 thru 9
UF leads 3-2....assuming they will have to finish in the morning if weather holds off

Playing really well vs a hot Ole Miss, 2 matches done and UF wins both

One match all score after 18, one match UF 2 down....but UF is 3 up with 3 to play on the 3rd remaining match. Barring a meltdown they will face AU, who has been unconscious this week.

Just caught a bit of the end on ESPN+. Filler finished very impressive with back to back birdies to win 2&1. Gators on to the finals awaiting the winner of LSU/Bama, which is still in progress.
