Yeah, I keep track of the numbers, right now it’s 50/50. If baseball doesn’t make NCAAs it goes up to about 60 or 70 percent.

And fun fact, not a single sec or national championship earned during SS’s entire tenure has been from a coach that wasn’t already here when he got here. He hasn’t brought in a single coach that has won a league title, let alone a national one (Nesty is the asterisk, he had men’s swimming already and SS gave him women’s too - they have won 2 sec titles). And worse, he gave us both the Amato and Neubaur scandals. Extending Cam after the initial allegations alone should have been a fireable offense by itself. He gave us the insane football schedule next year too, is on his third football coach, soon to be four likely. Golden may prove to be the only thing he got right.

Amazingly, with men’s golf, softball and lacrosse over-performing, and baseball getting in and now winning at least one, we are in good shape for another top 10 Directors cup finish. Without softball or baseball winning another game, if track just finished top 9 on both sides we would have just a tad more points than last year when we finished 6th. If baseball wins one more, track just would need top 14 or so from each side to match last year.

Considering football's disappointment , top 5 iis good, but top 5 isn't what I was responding too tho.

Everyone is trying as much as us in all sports. Texas A&M NC in Women's tennis, Auburn in men's golf. Being Top 10 is a great accomplishment. Some fans will never be happy.

To be fair to Emily, she just bagged two top 25 recruits for next year, twins from Hong Kong.
