Damage was caused because no one respected or feared Trump since he had no control over his country. Don't worry, the kids are out of the White House and adults are back in charge. Time to make America great again!

Yeah, you're going to have to do better at classifying Obama as an extremist than by saying he wasn't great at uniting the right and the left. He kept most of Bush's policies in place and stalled too long while trying to make a Republican health care plan with Republican votes that never materialized. He was called the deporter in chief. He was heavily into the use of drone strikes. .... So is it because he mentioned racial injustice more than others? What made him an extremist?

Huge numbers of our population believe in a complete alternate reality. Alternate facts, as it were.

But just as intensely as I believe they are deluded, they think I am the one who is deluded. Maybe I am. So how can I be confident in my perception? It can be quite difficult.

But I have found that in times of political confusion, particularly when emotions are running high and creating tunnel vision, the presence of Nazis can be an extremely helpful indicator.

If I am attending a local demonstration or event and I see Nazis…neo-Nazis, casual Nazis, master-race Nazis, or the latest-whatever-über-mythology-Nazis, I figure out which side they are on.

And if they are on my side of the demonstration? I am on the wrong side.

It is tough to argue moral equivalence when I am standing next to a Nazi. Look to my right. Is there a guy wearing a 6MWE (6 million wasn’t enough) t-shirt? I am on the wrong side. Look to my left. If that guy is wearing a Camp Auschwitz t-shirt? Wrong side. Are speakers being applauded for referring to things that Hitler got right? Wrong side. Team-spirit face paint and hat with animal horns? This is actually an unclear indicator that could mean anything, but safest to keep my distance from that guy anyway, even at a football game.

However, I can always, always, always rely on the presence of Nazis as a guiding light through a fog of disinformation.

Some things are relative, and politics can absolutely have its opposing sides and grey areas.

But evil and good are absolute. As are the lessons of history. So, just look for the Nazis, and make your own decisions.

By tweeting where she isn’t rather than where she is, she can defend her intentions. Still narrows it down for those looking for Pelosi. Zero justification to be tweeting locations no matter what the intention though.

Many liberals were unhappy with how conservative Obama was. And as the democrats have lurched further to the left, they have been even more willing to call him out for it.

That's sort of how politics + gerrymandering works. Despite Obama's caution, all those Blue Dogs and Democrats in contestable districts got annihilated in mid-terms, and then redistricting happened. Fewer swing seats, and more solidly blue/red seats. Even in an election Democrats got millions of more votes in, the Republicans already chipped away at seats won in the 2018 wave. And the people most likely to lose in 2022 or have their district carved up (after another round of redistricting) are the Spanberg centrist types in more contestable districts.

Trump supporter found dead in Georgia after being charged in Capitol riot

A Georgia man who was arrested for participating in the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 has died, 11Alive reports.

Christopher Stanton Georgia died at his home on Saturday, According to documents exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail, Georgia's wife called 9-11 and told authorities that there was "blood everywhere." While Georgia's cause of death is still unknown, officers removed two semi-automatic SKS rifles from the home.

After his arrest, Georgia was charged with attempting to "enter certain property, that is, the United States Capitol Grounds, against the will of the United States Capitol Police," according to the Daily Mail.

"At around 7:15pm last Wednesday, on the night of the riots, Georgia was reportedly among a group outside in violation of the District's 6pm curfew that had been put in place earlier that day to stem the chaos wreaked by the pro-Trump mob," the Mail reports. "When officers gave the group several warnings to disperse, Georgia and his group reportedly refused, according to the documents. They were then placed under arrest as a result."

    He’s still at it.

No contrition. No “there was no steal.” No “Joe Biden is the rightful President.” Just placing blame on others and giving a wink and nod to his supporters to keep it up, tossed in with some plausible deniability.

This is no different when a domestic abuser tells his wife that if she prosecutes him for it, it is her fault for breaking up the family.

And before I get the “bUt hE mEaNs nO vIoLeNcE” responses, even the GOP leadership seems to agree with Bill because they are apparently not whipping their caucus on the impeachment resolution and this lack of contrition is why. They’re letting their members vote their conscience last I heard.

That may be the honorable way for some of them, harakiri.

Or they could apologize and accept justice, either way.

I actually think people who express remorse (if credible) should get some degree of leniency. But part of their plea should be a public apology, probation, etc. People that refuse to accept responsibility should have the book thrown at them and need to be treated as terrorists
