Senate just went into recess, I'm assuming because of the security breaches.

 

House also. Several reps got up and walked out. On C-Span people on the floor were pointing up into the gallery, about four minutes later they recessed.

 

Dozens of protesters are inside the building, but it appears the capitol police got the doors closed, the numbers aren't increasing. C-Span is showing statuary hall, there is a group of protesters right outside the doors to the House.

I wish they would give us a shot from inside the House.

 

One of the doors at the top of the steps is open and the crowd is going in.

 

Surreal seeing footage of the mall side and the back side of the capitol, a door is open on the mall side and people are pouring in, but on the back side everyone is just standing around.

How would you suggest that police control these mobs? I know one way to do it but it would involve a lot more force than mace and tear gas but what is your suggestion?

Oh wait, I remember the rhetoric now, “people are angry and let’s just let them blow off some stream”. BS on that and this crap is getting old whether it’s what those idiots at the Capitol are doing today or the “peaceful protests” we saw on a nightly basis for months last year. Just in the last week we saw Pelosi‘s home get vandalized and Hawley have to deal with protesters outside his personal home. That stuff is wrong and we can’t keep ignoring it.

This post is absolute bullshit. These things are not even remotely close. This is an attack on our government by seditious bastards and they should all be in jail, including Trump.

Tear gas is banned by the Geneva convention. Its a violation of international law to use it in war. Seems like at minimum it shouldnt be used against civilians. There are other ways to disperse crowds.

 

How long until someone lights something
