What are the odds that if a gop candidate is elected in '24, that these traitors get pardoned and invited to a maga rally on the south lawn?

It's a false equivalence. Destroying a police car with a molotov cocktail, while terrible, is not exactly the same as planning an insurrection against the United States.

33 years is also an outlier request among DOJ defendants due to the more significant role played by the oathkeeper leaders.

Arson vs seditious conspiracy. Maybe find a comparable case of seditious conspiracy for us.

I don't know. Wouldn't be the first time. I just read a couple of stories about the two but didn't see any mention of the DOJ securing their early release. It was the DOJ that prosecuted them.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2023/09/05/pro...t-to-be-sentenced-for-role-in-jan-6-riot.html

The former leader of the far-right group Proud Boys is set to be sentenced Tuesday after being convicted of seditious conspiracy to disrupt the 2020 presidential election certification on Jan. 6, 2021.

The Department of Justice is seeking 33 years in prison for Enrique Tarrio — a sentence that, if delivered, would put him behind bars for far longer than any other person charged in connection with the Capitol riot made up of supporters of former President Donald Trump.

Tarrio’s sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.

According to a reporter on Twitter, the Tarrio sentence is 22 years in prison and 36 mos. supervised release.

so no comment on the fact that even pub senators were concerned and their concerns were ignored? do you just want this to die off or do you want to know the truth about what happened and hold those guilty of these treasonous acts accountable?

Good job keeping this thread updated with the latest info, fellas. I know a certain contingent is hoping the events of that shameful day get swept under the rug, can't let that happen.

So yesterday Ray Epps is charged with a misdemeanor. Today he pleads guilty and sentencing is set for Dec 20th. At the risk of being accused of starting a conspiracy theory does this not sound a little fishy?

Asking the lawyers, wouldn't this be a method of keeping oneself from having to perjure himself in case the question "Did you ever work for the FBI or DOJ?" were to come up in court?

I think that question could be explored in deposition and in court during his upcoming civil suit against FOX and some of the idiots that broadcast that lunacy with this caveat*

Still arresting those that attacked the US capital on jan 6th.

“online sleuths dubbed "Conan O'Riot" due to his resemblance to former late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien was arrested by the FBI this week.

where crowds had gathered to watch then-President Donald Trump's speech, a videographer asks Nelson why he's there.

"To start a revolution," Nelson said. "Why are you here?”

When the crowd descended on the Capitol, Nelson was near the front lines as a pro-Trump mob chased down outnumbered officers on the west side of the building, according to the FBI.“

FBI arrests redheaded cosplayer dubbed 'Conan O'Riot' by Jan. 6 sleuths

No, why would it? Whether or not he worked for the FBI or DOJ and the fact he was criminally charged for his Jan6 conduct are two separate issues. His guilty plea does not change whether or not he had a relationship to those two agencies.
