What does that quote have to do with Donald Trump sending his supporters to disrupt the functioning of government?

It seems like you are flipping between complaining about people being off-topic and then being off-topic depending on the topic...

Donald Trump sending his supporters to disrupt the functioning of government? False He did not send anyone - his words exactly:

He said: "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard."

As far as being off topic, it seems that it's ok for certain people to be off topic and nothing is said so I guess I have to assume that being off topic is ok around here. (unless people with different leanings than you are off topic) - see the posts about the wall on the "Failed Trade Ware" thread.

Like Killary said - what difference does it make now - the walls are going up again around the capitol and all of our dear politicians are safe.

At least no politicians died that day last year.

You mean at the rally that he said was "going to be wild" that he was cheering on at the White House? Yeah, he clearly had no clue what was going to happen...

What is interesting is that you both complain about how people are "allowed" to be off-topic while also complaining about how people are when it isn't you. Basically, you want to be allowed to be off-topic and nobody else to be when it doesn't suit you.

You can't have it both ways - for years you've been saying he's a dumb ass and now you says he's smart enough to know what they were going to do.

    Which one is it?

Nope, let's just eliminate off topic for all - it will save time for everyone.

Gee, why don’t you mention this?

“If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

Which was right after Rudy had told the crowd: “Let’s have trial by combat.”

Or Trump summoning his followers to Washington in the first place with the promise: “Be there, will be wild!”

Or any of these statements by Trump to incite his followers:

—“Let the weak ones get out. This is a time for strength.” As a reference to Republicans in Congress who weren’t going along with his effort to subvert the election.

—“You have to show strength, and you have to be strong.” That was to the marchers specifically.

—“When you catch somebody in a fraud, you are allowed to go by very different rules.”

—“You will have an illegitimate president. That is what you will have, and we can’t let that happen.”

—“We are going to the Capitol,” Trump told his followers, to “try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country. So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.” Actually, he didn’t go with them.

And throughout this thread I have documented individual after individual that said they felt Trump told them to do exactly what they did.

But like all criminals, Trump made one statement to shield his conduct. And you think that’s dispositive because you love authoritarian strongmen that wrap themselves in the flag while hating a democratic republic and are willing to shred the constitution for their own personal power. Because you align more with the traitors than the republic.

In fact, the reason I have kept this thread alive is exactly because I anticipated trash revisionist history posts like the one you made.

    How incredibly embarrassing for you.

I got it, i'll pm you my potential replies to a topic and you let me know if they are on topic so I can post or not - you seem to be a great judge off what is on topic and what is not

Just some more stories of unarmed tourists visiting the nation's capitol.

    From the article:

“I don’t care if Pelosi’s head is hitting every stair as I drag her by her ankles, she is coming out,” Reffitt said, according to the government.

“I was the first person to light the fire on the Capitol steps,” he wrote on Telegram after the attack, according to DOJ. He wrote that he “laughed” when he was shot with a pepper ball gun.

“I had my .40 on my side, they’re lucky we didn’t shoot them,” he told others, according to the government.

And with this admission…the white collar lawyer should get the same seditious conspiracy charges as the Oath Keepers. One would think “law and order” folks or those frustrated with “the elites”, would want to see equal justice brought to the “intellectuals” who led them down that path.
