I found this observation noteworthy as well with his delayed and rather strangely worded statement… perhaps this guy is right about the intent of it as being an attempt to invoke the Insurrection Act.

 

Oh I’ve absolutely come to believe this, and it too is obvious. Can’t get much more “Trumpy” than invoking the insurrection act to put down the very insurrection your own people fomented! I have no doubt this was part of the plan to create chaos, and everyone that showed up that day to “Stop the Steal” was a sacrificial pawn.

It certainly was the plan of some of the Trumpy characters outside govt who openly called for invoking the insurrection act. Fortunately there was enough resistance inside govt to made it untenable, and even folks like Don Jr and Hannity ended up pleading with Trump to call it off. What is unclear is whether that is because they saw it wasn’t going to happen once Mike Pence pledged to certify the results, or because it had turned into something even they hadn’t signed up for. But either way, it didn’t stop them from continuing to lie after the fact. These people are truly sick.

It’s exactly the same only completely different. You see violent thugs and hooligans actually did attack police officers in DC which stands in direct contrast with claims of Qanon none of which have occurred

 

As I said before, trumpsters get all snarky when hundreds of their fellow Proud Boys and insurrectionist buddies get locked up.
