    Why am I not surprised? Mike Pence has absolutely no chance of being the Republican nominee in 2024 even if Trump surprises and decides not to run. It's about time he grew a pair and stood up to Trump, who apparently would have shed no tears if Pence was actually lynched. He doesn't have anything to lose at this point and might even end up with a little self-respect as well as the respect of the few remaining non-Trump conservatives.

    Wow. The truth behind 1/6 truly is far more sinister than anything we could have imagined. Nothing that happened that day was spur of the moment, it had been planned out for weeks. They probably would’ve accomplished a lot more and actually killed politicians had they had even more time to plan.

    Ex-MMA fighter, 44, breaks down in tears as he begs judge for mercy before getting 41 months in prison for punching an officer at the Capitol on January 6 - the longest sentence for a rioter to date

    Scott Fairlamb, 44, is the first person sentenced for assaulting a law enforcement officer during the January 6 Capitol riot.

    He pleaded guilty to two counts and was sentenced to 41 months in prison.
    Videos from the Capitol riot showed Fairlamb punching an officer's helmet and climbing a scaffolding holding a baton while shouting.

    Prosecutors called for a 44-month sentence and cited Fairlamb's background in MMA fighting and social media, where he supported QAnon conspiracy theories.

    Fairlamb has been held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility since he was arrested at his Stockholm, New Jersey, home on January 22.

    Love seeing all these snowflakes dealing with reality. Wonder what type of compassion he had when participating in a riot that injured over 100 police officers.
