What political label would you place on all of those city counsels and mayors who voted to defund their police? And what political affiliation do you think all of the people calling for defunding or outright doing away with police have? I see that they got it unlocked. If not, assuming there is a warrant for the device, just make a forensic copy of the disk and pull the files from there. I seriously, seriously doubt that the feds couldn't defeat a full disk encryption like Bitlocker.
