As long as it doesn’t set a precedent for those who did damage or violence, I don’t have a problem w/ <1 year for those who fess up and plead guilty.

Now those who did damage should get multiple years, and those who committed assaults maybe even double digits. Especially those who don’t plead out. Don’t plead out for this insurrection, the govt can bury you under a ditch at Guantanamo for all I care.

 

For the reasons stated in my previous post, I am really interested in his exact quote, as to whether Biden is the "President" or the "rightful President". The "rightful" qualifier was not included in the earlier reporting of his comments. I think that's significant, because that's a common verbal ruse is just to say that Biden is the President without saying that he's in the office legitimately

Some will probably try that strategy. Some are trying to move venues, arguing that DC isn't a fair place to try them. I'm guessing that the plan for those defendants would be to venue shop their cases to a place more likely to nullify based on agreeing with the cause.
