You are wrong and you proved nothing. Your calling Lincoln a democrat is ridiculous. You not knowing the makeup of the congress in 1964 in pure laziness resulting in your lack of understanding.

Senator Byrd and Senator Biden were best buds. Maybe you should look up their party and relationship.....

I don't think it takes a genius to realize that the total crude oil production affects the price of gasoline at the pump everywhere in the US and if you're trying to attribute the reduction in the price of gas at the pump where I live to Biden's decision to release 1 million gallons of gasoline from the Northeast Reserve, you totally fail for a couple of reasons. First, the drop in the price at the pump occurred over an extended period of time and actually almost 50 cents a gallon lower in February and secondly, Virginia is was not affected by the release from Northeast Reserve. To the extend the release had in an impact on prices it was in PA, NJ, NY and the New England states. This is the region affected by the reserve.

Again, please leave “Democrat” and “republican” monikers out of this. In which social issue I outlined above were CONSERVATIVES (such as yourself) not staunchly opposed? Be specific.

PS - show me where I said Lincoln was a “democrat”. I never even mentioned Lincoln. But Lincoln sure as shit wasn’t a “conservative”

The Liberal news commentators are already asking for the Biden administration to put out positive "cheap fakes" of Biden... Like that's going to change his open border's policies... and normalize inflation... our economy.

I proudly was a junior at a previous all black school, Pensacola Washington, due to our schools here becoming integrated in 1969/70. Went from all white Pensacola High to all black Pensacola Washington. The entire senior class was black. They took us newcomers under their wings and wouldn't allow any racial issues. They were outstanding. We suffered no racial issues whatsoever. Since I'm dating myself, Steve Williams who became a freshman basketball player with UF in the next year was a senior. Lawrence McCray, another senior basketball player, went on to be a star at FSU. Washington set a, at the time a state record, mudpuddle stomping on Miami Carol City to win the state championship.

Unfortunately, Pensacola High and Pensacola Escambia experienced racial integration growing pains.

I remember well when Boston used bussing later to integrate their schools. There was significant rioting in Boston. I remember thinking it was a shame Boston didn't get to have the positive experience we had at Pensacola Washington.

Speaking of Boston integrating their schools using bussing, you current president, President Biden, was opposed to the bussing and the integration. Bet you don't know this either.

Be sure to look up Biden's Boston stance while you look up his relationship with Senator Byrd. None of this is far removed too far from 1964 congress that you should know better about as well. You have been living on misinformation.

Proudly huh? Good for you. I gotta say I’m genuinely surprised by your eager willingness to participate in such a progressive endeavor. Certainly not representative of conservative voices at the time. Maybe you’ve just grown more conservative with age.

PS - I graduated from PHS in ‘99

It’s a bizarre attempted rewrite of history, all goes back to Danish DeSouza movie a few years back. (Yes, 2000 mules guy). They never admit to seeing the movie of course, but somehow started using that talking point. ‘What, me a racist? dEmOcRaTs aRe ThE pArTy of SlAvErY”.”.

I mean if anyone wants to play that simple game:

In 1964 confederate flag wavers were mostly still Southern Democrats, the Dixiecrats.

By 2024 confederate flag wavers are 100% Republicans, and more specifically, these are your more passionate MAGA republicans. Dixiecrats are either dead or changed parties.

they are the same people. Their parent’s children. It’s just amazing they seemingly can’t see the error of their ways on social issues when conservatives have a nearly perfect record when it comes to opposing any sort of social initiative that benefits anyone who isn’t a white, male American Christian.

Boston has a long and pretty well know history of race issues. Michigan is known to house many extremists (OKC bomber had set up camp in Michigan), and I guess white Supremecists are now out in Idaho.

Racism isn’t exclusive to the deep South, but it arguably plays a bigger role in politics in the South. It literally flipped the political parties after civil rights. It’s hardly even exclusive to the white race. There are crazy black supremacy and Jewish supremacy groups. But they are so fringe there isn’t much of a political constituency. Whereas the “Southern Strategy” has been on again off again in Republican politics since 1964. Trump is all in on that race baiting shit, but obviously with immigrants being enemy #1 over black diversity.

Oh look, another liberal shooting their mouth off when they don’t know what they’re talkin about. Robinswood Miiddke School and Maynard Evans High School. 71-77.

Look it up. In addition to preventing yourself from looking so foolish in the future, you might even learn something.

I was bussed past my local school into a previously all black school too in Florida... early '70's too. We had no racial issues the whole time I went there.

So you were not at any point opposed to attending a desegregated school?

Well then that clarifies that you have absolutely zero clue about desegregation. Thank you for coming. Have a nice day.
