    I'm not sure capitalism can restore the sentimental value people put on the property they possess, it deals in market value, dollars and cents. Cant put on a price on the memory of the car where you first felt up your wife or had that fun road trip.

    It’s been a number of years since I have had to deal with an insurance claim for a total. Is the insured still entitled to the Sales Tax added to the car value on the claim?

    The adjuster does enter condition to determine ACV, but its literally like good, average or poor.

    Ned is correct. You are betting you will wreck your car, your insurance company is betting you won't. You lose either way.
