I don't think we have seen Manuel healthy enough for an extended period to say what his floor/ceiling actually is. He appears to check most boxes from a physical ability standpoint

 

I agree. I would like to have seen him more. He had a fairly good rate on pass plays in Arkansas and looked to be carrying that over to here. On a more positive note, Crenshaw-Dixon has far exceeded my expectations.

 

Agree on both....BCD is kind of that solid guy you like to have. Never be elite but doesn't get you beat either

Watch Billy mess around and end up pulling a rabbit out of his hat and get himself a decent HS haul and top it off with some good portal talent.

Pick up Trammel and then you have a shot at 2 of their OL recruits

Noise about Frenchie 5star possibly wanting to stay closer to home. Coincidentally his QB has been Fong'd as a flip to us and they're both visiting this weekend. Then there's still Tavaris Dice that we've stayed recruiting on top of the other FSU OL you mentioned. Man a good win this weekend could give us the momentum we desperately needed.

I know, "optimistic" but there is a legit possibility CBN can still pull two 5 star kids to go along with borderline 5 star Brown and Banks. As well as some talented kids.

Crazy how we went from hearing crickets in recruiting a week ago to hearing a ton of chatter now.

 

Hmmm... what happened in the last week or two that coincides with this recruiting noise?

 

Or have three big bags to give those three. Thats 100% necessity to even have that conversation.

 

Big win during a huge recruiting weekend

 

this makes me laugh a little. This entire board was complaining when Manuel WAS playing - subbing in for Barber for half of the snaps the first 3-4 games of the season. lol

(arguments trying Manuel at RT were also made).

 

Stability happened, I guess.

 

Waites got more reps than Manuel at that time. It was crystal clear we only had Barber, Crenshaw, and Manuel, but they trotted out Waites at RT. If necessary Manuel should have had those reps. That is what all the complaining was about.

the RT argument made sense for sure.

 

The skill players we'll have on our team next year will be unbelievable. I just hope we can sign several Big-Uglies and Big-Nasties from the Portal.
