Vast Majority of Americans Support Photo ID and proof of Citizenship to vote

    Then I am okay denying that person the ability to vote. You don't want to give a valid reason, then I don't have a problem with them being turned away at the polls on Election Day.

    A right does not mean it's unconditional. You have to pass a background check to get a firearm. Free speech even has its limits (saying things like "fire" in a public place). And both free speech and the right to carry a firearm is more enshrined in the constitution than the right to vote.

    We're not talking about locking them up and taking away their freedom, that's a false equivalent. So if they can't meet the very basic condition of voting (providing photo ID), then yes I am completely fine and absolutely support not allowing them to vote.
