The truth is, he was not raised in the suburbs to a wealthy family. He grew up in Middletown, Ohio, where his grandparents had moved from Eastern Kentucky Appalachia. So many traveled that path that it was called “Hillbilly Highway.” His grandfather worked in the steel mill as a union employee.

Middletown, Ohio does not have suburbs. Have you been there? I have numerous times.

The population when he was born was only slightly less than 50,000, and it is not more that today. The poverty rate in Middletown is much higher than the Ohio average.

Here is the house he grew up in, as indicated by realtor.com:

    313 McKinley St, Middletown, OH 45042 | realtor.com®

That is definitely not the house of a wealthy family. It was built in 1900 and sold in 2018 for $94,500.

He went to Yale on a full scholarship. Do you think Yale gives scholarships to wealthy people?

Your Snopes link explains very clearly Vance’s name changes. Nothing sinister there. I don’t see why people are making a big deal out of that.

You can dislike Vance all you want, but it’s best not to get sucked in by made-up falsehoods on the Internet.

He is probably the best VP candidate pick made by a Republican in decades. Which is why you see all the fairy tales.

You would think so. He is a soulless shape shifter and a wholly owned subsidiary of Thiel and Musk. With getting any kind of real power, he would fulfill their dream of turning the US back into a pre-industrial revolution paradise for billionaires.
