Boom....sack fumble - Zona recovers! That makes SIX takeaways (so far). You're not going to win a game giving the ball away.

And just like that.......it's 38-24 Cats!

The guy doing the snow angel....lol......hilarious! :D

    2:56 left to play....

With the win, Arizona goes to 10-10-1 in bowl games.
With the loss, Oklahoma is now 31-25-1 in bowl games.

The 14 point turnaround on the pick six turned the momentum around. Oklahoma was their own worst enemy. Bob stoops kid played with some fire. Was that an SEC officiating crew? They looked familiar.
    Good ballgame.

Jedd Fisch goes 10-3 and beats Oklahoma by 2 TD’s in year 3 with a roster rated 43 in composite talent. Impressive to say the least. He only makes $2.6mil too, that’s likely gonna change big time somewhere else in 2025.

Zona is his first HC job, probably was not on any major schools radar at the time. ( No offense to Arizona fans). This is his first winning season at Zona in year 3.

Fisch took over after Sumlin went 0-5 and lost to ASu 70 - 7 during the COVID season. Year 1, Fisch lost to Northern Arizona U, and went 1 - 11, beating only a COVID depleted CAL team. Nobody was going to hire Fisch with a 1 - 11 record.

Last year, Arizona was at least competitive and went 5 - 7. Decent O, bad D. This year, nobody expected a 10 win season. And 2 of the losses were in OT, with the only regulation loss being by 7 points to Washington.

Lots of returning talent next year. But the only thing harder than getting to the top is staying there. And next year, we'll be the hunted.

Yep, I have a good friend that lives in Phoenix and is an Arizona alum. He is pretty surprised by the success after years of futility.

so happy to see one of Spurrier’s former guys doing so well. Also goes to show don’t have to have a top 15 roster, all of the resources, etc. etc. this guy took over a much worse situation than we had at Florida and look what he has done.
    Go Coach Fisch!!!!!

Right, but he took over one of the worst situations in all of college football at a place that people do not win at, and a place with not unbelievable football resources to think he did this in year three is nothing short of amazing

Yep, he has shown improvement every year. The guy is a flat out. Example of what you can do without unbelievable resources
