I did a search and checked the Swap forum and didn’t find this question or this info yet. Where is the best place to get Utah game tix as a non-season tix holder? I will need two, maybe four. Even on a Thursday I will be there. I see them on StubHub starting at $255 but prefer to buy direct from one of the schools or a Gator fan. Probably fly out Tuesday and return between Sun and Tues, depending upon what else we decide to do while over there.
If you end up going the StubHub route which I do quite often, wait till closer to game time and save money more often than not. Music or sports,I like good seats and StubHub doesn’t often run out of tickets, they do drop day of though. I check often till I see a good price.
Almost everything I go to is sold out. They always have good tickets. Sometimes I pay a lot, $300 a seat to Bama on the 50 but sometimes I get last minute tickets up close to James Taylor for $100. I wasn’t going to go to James Taylor because good tix were so expensive but for a $100, two hours before the show, I bought two and started making phone calls to get someone to go.
Usually after the deadline for season ticket renewal is up (March 7) they then allow season ticket holders to buy away tickets, although on my email reminding about the approaching deadline, it stated that I could include the purchase of Utah and uga tickets when I renew ( I plan to renew sometime this week).After allowing season ticket holders they then open it up to the general public..sometime after May ( they allow season ticket holder a chance to move around to still available seats in the Swamp at some point) I would wait and call the UF ticket office first before going to those other places..don't they charge a bunch of fees too?
