USS Carney under attack in Red Sea along with commercial ships

    No indication whether any actual impact with any ships. It doesn’t sound like it. Looks like we may have to hit the Houthis, although I hate to help MBS.

    UPDATE: no actual impact, all intercepted. No swarms. The point may have been to up insurance rates for Israeli shipping

    They keep tossing 10K blind missiles and we intercept them with 100k weapons. Iranians aren't dumb. BUT - they really don't want to mess with Arleigh Burkes!!

    They did hit a commercial ship and one may sink. They would love to trigger a wider regional war and we hope to avoid but not be able to it. They may also impact Israel’s economy even more by making shipping insurance prohibitively expensive. The extended mobilization is already an economic drag.


    But yes, Aegis is proving capable, although you hate to use it so much and give the Chinese so much data.
