USF decided to lose when they took the FG on that last 4th & goal. That was a “I just want the game to look close” move, not a “going for the throat” move. USF can keep this guy.
Yeah, I think Bama realized they were actually a bunch of Pu$%$ and said how on earth is this game so close. Then the slammed the door in USF’s face.
Totally agree. Still, it’s apparent that Bama got Zooked with this hire. It’s delicious. Every step they take for the next three years will be backwards.
Gator fans should never want to see usf excell. If they start winning, they’ll lock down the area recruiting and cut us off to the area. you guys are pulling for that to happen.
Why? He jumped ship when needed him. He left because he didn't get the carries he wanted yet, had he stayed, he might be RB #1 now.
Based on what? Seriously, some of our fans are very delusional. DeBoer has won more games than all of our coaches since Meyer had about a tenth of the losses of ALL OF THEM. 106-12 record, he's the new Meyer here. You guys need to Google sometimes; it's easy, even a Seminole can do it.
I agree, I think DeBoer was the right hire for them. The only issue for him is can he live up to sky high expectations? If he goes let's say 10-3 for a few seasons, is that good enough for Bammer?
We will see. I think he has four losses and an angry fanbase coming based on the substandard performance I saw yesterday.
Not so fast my friend. I know I speak for everyone here - that we're ALL pulling for ETN this season!
Changed to the game in 4th with 10 minutes left and was shocked at the 14-13 score. I know USF is not that good but couldn't see Bama as being that bad. Then the Tide got serious about winning and got 3 scores bing bang boom.
Yeah, totally agree. I don't know if Deboer is the one, but statements like that are BS. I spent labor day weekend in Pcola with an old friend who just happens to be a gump. They are happy with the hire, but concerned about all the players who transferred out. Otherwise, they feel pretty good about things.
