I meant long-term. You need top 10 HS classes every year in addition to a few portal players to compete with UGA, Bama, OSU ...

As I mentioned, take away Travis and his style of play, and I do not think they are all that special.

Travis was obviously a find. Looks like a bigger, faster, stronger-armed Bryce Young.

I could be that or a variety of things, including Scott Stricklin may not have an eye for coaching talent. May be too early to make that statement, but it's a definite possiblilty.

Lots of ostriches with their heads buried in the sand. We've seen this movie play out before.

Other than the soccer coach, and it’s very early in that tenure, none of Stricklin’s hires have yet to make any serious noise.

I, too, think that we can get better fairly quickly.

The defense looked good on the road in a hostile environment.

I know that we did not face Cam Rising but still a difficult situation where we could have given up and gotten blitzed badly.

we just need to fix the offense and special teams and we are golden!

QB looked very good but no help from a running attack at all.

I think the altitude definitely played a role, along with inexperience. They multiplied the effect.

Being at home against a cupcake will definitely help right the ship IMHO.

The schedule definitely worked against us so far.

They have a head start but we will catch them if we keep recruiting like we are doing!

    Patience, grasshopper! HaHaHa!

And quietly we are on a 4 game losing streak dating back to last year. The record since our 0-10 season was in 2013 when we lost 7 in a row. Pretty sure we won't touch that record but if we lose to McNeese we might lose all of them.

I think that our defense is too good to lost to McNeese, McDonalds or any other Mac!

If you can't be first, be last.

I think LSU's loss was worse than ours, based on multiple factors (score, yardage, ranking difference, semi-neutral site.) But because they went into halftime up, people won't see it that way.

It will be in vogue to pile on UF, even by our fans. Going to have to earn our way out of it.

I jut saw our highlights and the erst of the games this weekend and I can honestly say that RAG, USA Today, is less than fecal matter.... Clemson, LSU and USCe all looked far more inept than what we looked. We actually had more yards than Utah did... even after penalties that wiped away some of our big gains.

Shoot, I miss the days of starting off with an automatic win and getting to see the second and third stringers.
