Oh they would have been offended either way. There would have been a thread posted complaining about the colors of the players were wearing when they held up the trophy or how they didn't stand during the national anthem. They would have figured out a reason to post something negative

I watched part of the game, and still can't figure out why soccer is such a popular spectator sport. But then I can't figure out why people watch golf either. Watching NASCAR races I can understand. People want to see crashes. I guess the same people watch football to see people hurt. Like Andy Griffith said in his old "What It Was Was Football" routine, "They'd tote one off and run another one on."

As for Nancy or Kamala beating up a guy, they'd have to catch him first. Remember Josh Hawley? Was he running from a mob or from Nancy? He had given the mob a thumbs up. Maybe he had given Nancy a middle finger.

I confess I was surprised by the animosity toward the team. Is it just because Rapinoe has been outspoken for equal rights?
But the range of anger is pretty weird.
- Simply directed at Rapinoe for being "Complacent, soft,Unfocused and entitled"
- Pulling against the US
- A guy who claims the team despises the US but won't say what led him to that conclusion other than he can just tell by looking at them that they are America-hating, traitors. Every single one of them except, of course, the blonde ones.
- Someone thinks the team gets so much support, they should win every year because, you know, other teams don't get much support.
- Or someone else, who has obviously paid zero attention, claims they only have 100 fans

- Not to mention the grown man who wants to beat the shit out of 83-year-old, 115-pound woman because he doesn't like her politics.
