I have nothing against the LGB... it's the groomers with the other letters that have to be de-funded.

    Strange answer, even for her

can you imagine “hey Patrick, chiefs lost in wild card round, what’s your best memory?” “Well Tony, we all signed our biggest contract this year” “see you at the Grammy’s”

I was in Publix this afternoon and my cashier was one I remember as a Columbian - I had met her a while back so I knew.

I watched part of the Col/Jam match so congratulated her and asked if she was watching. She replied "We play England on Saturday!" - so I guess that answered my question...ha ha.

So just to bring the thread up to date - this is the schedule for the rest of the games.

Of course, I will be pulling hard for those girls from Oz! [IMG]

achieving pay equity was a big deal for many, not just her, and represented something more meaningful than a world cup goal. the trophies may come and go but hopefully equality has staying power. don't like her, but can understand the answer

agree it was a priority for her and the results showed. And I also believe she means it, just think you wait a bit till you lump that in. The pay thing sure. I get it. I can’t speak for others but I mostly watch sports/ athletes because they do things I can’t do or are extraordinary. A group of athletes male or female that get rolled by HS kids is not extraordinary, or inspiring…. so then I’d look for another intangible reason to tune in. And they didn’t provide one
