I love what I see when I look at myself. Truth is you’re a new poster who came in pretty hot.
Its funny that you enjoy casting judgment but can’t take it when it comes back.
Stick around my friend. Let’s see who you really are. In time, your true self may emerge.

WTH kind of crazy talk is this? Show me 15 guys (US citizens of course) from the D League who are going to keep the game competitive against foreign teams with the likes of Giannis, Doncic, Jokic, etc. A lot of the top players in the League these days are foreigners.

I guess people need to relearn why the "Dream Team" was created in the first place, because sending college level players to get whipped by hardened pros wasn't a winning formula even in the 90s.

this seems to be the case with so many on here. They post crap, and when you throw it back in their face they get triggered. You can almost set your watch by it. Just watch: I’ll get attacked here for posting this. LOL.

Dude, I'm going to have to call you out on this BS. Do you go and root for Vandy over UF if they have a better looking women's basketball or Volleyball or Gymnastics team?

Sure, Sweden has some attractive players but have you actually watched them on the field? They have some pretty big and . . . let's say "masculine looking" ladies out there also. Plus, I've always thought Abby Dahlkemper, Julie Ertz, Mallory Swanson, Alex Morgan, Sophia Heurta and others were attractive female athletes that played for the US team. Of course, I would also trade Alex Morgan for a more dynamic, younger, skilled striker with more pace in a heartbeat even if she wasn't cute.

And not to burst your bubble but I'm not sure you'd have much chance with some of those Swedish players since I read an article that Sweden had 3 times the number of LGBTQ players on their roster than the US had in this World Cup. But hey, if that's all that matters when you root for teams . . . good luck bro!!!

uhmm, while I 100% agree with the observation in my post, it was brought to my attention by my wife while we were watching the video. Sweden has really beautiful women. That is a fact.

Are we now not allowed to make observations about appearance…or is that going to trigger the woke folks?

Exactly right. I pretty much wrote this team off after Cata and Mallory got injured. IMO, Horan and Lavelle were the only creative, dynamic playmakers we had left and Rose was still trying to work her way back into form from a recent knee surgery. Not that Smith, Rodman and Thompson don't have a huge upsides but they are kids and complimenary players at best at this stage of their development.

People also overlook the toll of losing Press and Heath to age and injury for this cycle. Heath was the MVP in the last Cup because no one in the world could match up with her and Press was an incredible spark plug who was in her prime. Heath, with her skill and creativity, and Press, with her speed, created huge problems for other teams to deal with. Also, Sam Mewis should be in her prime right now prowling the midfield for us but a freak knee injury might have ended her career prematurely. I saw her recently speak at an event and there is no timetable for her return after a procedure she should have originally been back from years ago. That doesn't sound good.

Throw in taking one of the best defensive mids around (Ertz) starting despite not having played much recently, then movng her to CB due to injuries to other starters, questionable coaching decisions and . . . let's face it . . . this team was a mess. We didn't just perform below expectations in this World Cup, we've been performing well below expectations since the LAST WORLD CUP!!! Anyways . . . rant over.

Sweden does have beautiful women. Does that mean they all play soccer?

Beautiful??? . . . . Ehhhh. Blonde??? . . . Definitely!!! I'll give you that. And if you love blondes, it's one of the best teams to root for!!! They also play good soccer.

Yup, and our reliance on the old guard has meant that there are a ton of players in the 25-30 range who have very little major tournament experience.

And our youth soccer system is broken so we have a lot fewer great players to choose from than we should have given our huge population.

I think it was the other part where you insulted the appearances of our players. I doubt anyone is going to raise an eyebrow if you say some teams have hot players.

NWSL is working on the academies, I think that will bear fruit over time. But college has always been the development path for US players. With overseas leagues getting investment, it will be interesting to see how many top players opt for college.

Was Sweden a +260 before the WC or before the match? Before the WC, all the talk was about a 3-peat and how this would be swan song for Rapinoe, taking a victory lap as she brought the WC home with her. Yet, it became the worst showing of any US women's team at a WC in history. Hard to fathom 75% of their scores came against the weakest team they would face.

Here's the initial picks BEFORE the WC started:

    United States +225
    England +450
    Spain +550
    Germany +700
    France +900
    Australia +1200
    Sweden +1400
    Netherlands +1800
    Canada +2500
    Brazil +2500

I am sure those with no sense of humor or understanding of satire will get fired up over this one from the Bee...

Garth Brooks Opens Gay Bar | Babylon Bee

"NASHVILLE, TN — In a surprising twist, legendary country music star Garth Brooks has announced that his new bar will in fact be a gay bar, as they will be serving Bud Light.

"There are plenty of other straight bars you can go to, but at my bar, we will serve an endless supply of Bud Light!" said Garth Brooks sporting a glittery rainbow cowboy hat and rhinestone studded chaps. "So if you wanna go where the whiskey drowns and the Bud Light chases your blues away then come on down to the 'Friends In Low Places' bar.

According to sources, the bar features unlimited Bud Light on tap, glitter raining down from the rafters, and mechanical bedazzled unicorn riding. As patrons took to the dance floor, gay couples swung, twirled, and twerked to the melodies of classic Garth Brooks tunes mixed with pulsating nightclub beats.

"We take PRIDE in opening such a quality gay bar!" added Garth Brooks while serving another pitcher of ice-cold Bud Light. "Our motto is we'll serve any beer and we don't care if it's queer!"..."
