Its really not like that at all. Anyone who's watched this cycle shoulda known this team was in trouble, even before 3 top players got hurt before the tournament (Sauerbrunn, Macario, Swanson). Not to mention Rose Lavell who couldnt go 90. We'd lost to England, Germany and France in the run up. Questions about the coach too, who apparently doesnt like to use subs with a still very deep team in attack.

Cmon man. "Most" people are not standing in line during the anthem.

"Most" people are at their seats as that is generally the last thing before the kickoff, puck drop, first pitch etc.

"Most" people like the anthem and like it as a sports tradition.

And you're comment about the military also puts you in the minority. The opposite of "most".

Not sure if it’s a good comparison though. The president has more of an impact on our country than a sports team. The president is also an elected official. Not exactly the same.

The NA is much better as an orchestral piece but I don’t go to sporting events to hear the orchestra.
