That person as well is the one who refuses to put their hand over their heart or sing the national anthem for the flipping USA National Team. Spare me the defense of the a person that lacks patriotism yet was allowed to represent our Country.

Is that really what this is all about though? Many athletes and fans put their hands by their sides and don’t sing.

 

I have my own thoughts on the issue and find it ridiculous that Americans can be so disrespectful to the Greatest Country on Earth.

But to be on the USA National Team and not willing to represent Our Country with Respect. Infuriating. That said...you could argue and I would agree. This gets to the people in charge who allowed this. They put an old person who was not good enough and a cancer to what the USA National Team is about on the team. We got what we deserved. Sadly.

I have always put my hand on heart for the Pledge but didn’t know it was the proper etiquette for the Anthem until I read about it after Obama caught a lot of heat. But I think there is a lot of politics going on in the way this is discussed.

I similarly don’t care what you think. In my experience most take the NA as an opportunity to stand in line for booze or concessions. For me it’s a good time to surf the net.

 

From a sports perspective, this team is between 2 generations and the older one needs to bow out for the younger. They also had injury issues and poor coaching.

But of course, this thread is really about the deeply deplorable hatred of strong women that so many dirtbags in this country possess.
