    Coup there a year or so ago, they are aligning with other non-democracies.
    It had been an important place to monitor jihadists. barely gets a mention in the US press.

    Was very risky when the Trump administration built the expensive drone base in the middle of the desert. You may recall all the protests about the 4 soldiers killed there. Oh that’s right, Trump was president so we blamed the bad guys. It also ran over by hundreds of millions
