Colorado and Indiana need to pack their shit because they don't belong. If they sneak in there, it'll just be a disappointment for the whole playoff. They're not a top ten team. If they get in, they're taking the place of a better team than they are
I don't think Indiana is getting in, but Colorado may. And if Colorado gets in, you have to admit, that's a great story. Who doesn't like great stories? And frankly, hasn't the CFP ended all other bowl games? I mean, they'll still have all the other junk bowl games, but half the team will sit and nobody will care.
Colorado getting him in would be at travesty, they suck an average big 12 team just kicked the shit out of them
Don't think you'll see too many Gators sitting out a "meaningless" bowl game. They'll take it for what it is - an opportunity to practice more and get better. Don't be so jaded. Oh, and the Buffs won't make the CFP. No shot.
Yeah, but CU won't care. All they care about is that CFP. They don't care how they got there. And at the end of the day, that's why we do this 12 game season, right? It's not just to go to some lousy bowl game half the team sits out for. Fans want to see the playoffs.
Ok, I’ll bite. Why do you think that this would be a great story? Colorado has the best QB in college football, the Heisman favorite starring on both sides of the ball, and Deion (the greatest coach ever with an all-star coaching staff). Wouldn’t it be a massive failure if they didn’t make the playoff given that they play in a weak conference? Let’s be rational here, if UT and OU were still in the big 12, the buffs don’t even get a sniff.
I'd rather not be right, slow motion can also be misleading. But he def went really low, mat be a by product of that dumbass targeting rule?
But UT and OU are not in the Big 12 and Colorado made get a sniff. They'll need some help, but going into the last week of the season and still having a legitimate shot at a CFP berth is about all you could ask for. Especially for a team that has been a doormat for years and won 1 game in 2022. It's a great story, even if they don't make it. I can imagine their fans are pretty stoked at still being alive this late in the season.
My point is that considering that UT and OU are not in the conference, wouldn’t it be a massive failure for them NOT to get in? When you take in to account the players and coaches I mentioned. I don’t get the great story part. Colorado is Indiana with better players in a worse conference.
In my opinion his intent go to that lower direction was made while Sanders was still high in the air. Was he trying to go for a cheap shot? I am not a mind reader. I just made a response on this incident. I stated that my sense of fair play may of gotten the best of me. I really do not wish to insinuate that this defender was trying to take a cheap shot.
None of that matters to CU. They'd rather be in the hunt than not in the hunt, ya know what I mean? I think they are most likely out of the CFP, but you never know.
You should tell that to the NCAA. For now, the rules say CU have a chance to get in. CU fans must be stoked because they were so bad for so long and Prime comes in and it's a revival. 2nd year with a legit shot at a CFP. Can't ask for much more than that.
I don't think they care. It's their first year in the conference, so their feelings aren't hurt by that. All they care about is the CFP. Prime has them close!!
At no point was Sanders ever in the air until hit, he was taking steps forward. Again I don't know what you are watching, it doesn't match reality. The defender went knee level on a QB releasing the ball, his intent doesn't mean anything, his actions were that of someone taking as clear a cheap shot as you will see. If a player pulled that crap on DJ this forum would be on fire.
