Charlie has had a couple good offenses as a HC but they were related to Bridgewater and Flowers. Does he have either at UF next year? Any reason to suspect he can develop one of those guys or land one between now and August? I just can't embrace that hire and I really do like Charlie.

I thought Mullen was going to fail here to begin with but if we whiff on Kelly and he's the guy Stricklin chooses, there's a 0.0% chance it works out. He's the offensive Bo Pelini, will give you 8-9 wins a year but you'll never be a true contender.
