It's funny you say that. I was the same way. It started with my obsession with everything University of Michigan related when I was really young. (89 championship team)

Then during 8th or 9th grade I started to hear/read about Chris Webber at Detroit Country Day. We played them in soccer so I was very familiar with DCD. At the same time I was learning more about the Detroit Public League Schools with Jalen Rose, Voshon Leonard and Howard Eisley that all played on the SAME Detroit Southwestern team. 3 future pros!

These guys were all 3-4 years older than me and I happened to be in the suburbs playing against the likes of Dugan Fire. Anyway, I started to obsess about attending the public league games. That obsession transferred to UF football when i moved to Florida.

Long story short, (too late I know) I never thought my "obsession" with UF football/basketball would ever wane. But all these years later "I no longer live or die" by this stuff either.

 

After Frost turns us down to stay at UCF?

I understand what youre saying but Strong would be such a huge let down.and Taggart a little less of a letdown. Kiffin should never be mentioned as the HBC at UF but the 2 aforementioned coaches are not elite hires.

I love Charlie but not as HBC.

 

I don't want Charlie or Taggart, but they're still much higher on my list than Lame Kitten.
